ACCESS THE WIKI HERE

if you want an account, pm me with YOUR DESIRED WIKI USERNAME and YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS.

your wiki login info will be emailed to that address once i get around to it.

please use the old prime 2 wiki as a guide for how to lay out the new one. we can only expect similar things to be found in prime 3.

to start out, forum admins and mods will become so-called "bureaucrats" (mods by any other name) on the wiki. if someone is doing an excellent job maintaining the wiki, then let me know and i'll make them a mod as well.

Thread title:
I just finished creating an initial setup for most of the pages. I essentially took the pages from the Echoes wiki and brought them over, with a few alterations or improvements.

Unfortunately, because I renamed a page and didn't do things like I should've, we already have a page that is useless. I put a link to the renamed page in the event that somebody ends up there, but is there a way to completely delete the page?

I'm referring to the Obstables to Skipping Items page, which I renamed to Bypassing Items afterwards. Both names have a page associated with them, but the Obstacles page is the one I'd want to delete.

How about this?

I saved a bigger one without the Prime 3 under it as well if you want to see it.

The Screw Attack symbol is actually the Super Metroid version, if that's a problem.

need to have a transparent background. also needs to be anti-aliased against white (or else light gray).
How's this?

I've already logged about three hours into the game at Gamestop (their demo units have the full game), so I may be making wiki edits as I get further. The fact that there's more spoken dialog in the first minute of the game than there's been in the entire series is a bit awkward, but so far, everything else has been great.
my umbrella goes directly to Bankai
well, considering that prime 1 and 2 have like zero spoken dialogue, it is quite easy to beat them (not counting the PAL mp1 version. that one is a little harder to beat)
After beating the game, I can officially say that most of the spoken dialog is
in the intro level, and the tail end of the game where you and the Federation soldiers raid the Space Pirate homeworld. Other than that, you only hear spoken dialog from the Aurora Unit and Admiral Dane.

If you guys want, I can list all of the items and bosses.

Yeah ... please use spoiler tags for everything directly regarding the game. Fixed your post this time; this is also a warning.
Wow, did I forget to close the spoiler tag or something? I'm usually on top of things like this, but I guess I missed one this time. Sorry.
So is anyone else really using the wiki besides me at the moment? I've been trying to keep it updated as I played through the game, but I don't see anyone else contributing to it just yet, besides one update someone made to list all of the bosses.

Probably because you're all too busy actually PLAYING the game, right?

Anyway, I attempted to list the required items in order to finish the game on the wiki, and came to 27%. I may be off if I forgot something or if an item or two aren't counted towards the final percentage.

Does anybody feel like trying to put up all of the discoveries we've made so far, or should we just wait until more people complete the game first? (Or should I just try and do it instead?)

Probably. Just look at the Prime 2 wiki: it saw a ton of use yet wasn't even a good game.

I have Wiki access too, I'll update it once I finish the game (which will hopefully be by the end of today). I'll stick up all of the findings and videos from the SB topic. :D
Cool, thanks!

I'm just afraid I've either forgotten something important or made a bad assumption about an item and there's nobody else to check and see if I'm right or not.

I've tried to keep things pretty organized over there, but I know that won't last long once a lot of people start going over there with their own findings.

I have a few questions on what we want to add to the wiki.  These are major changes, so I didn't want to just make them without other's input.  I didn't see an active discussion in the wiki, so I figured I'd post this here.

1.  Do we want a page listing how to get friend vouchers and non-scanning tokens?

2.  On the Techniques page, do we really need to list the old techniques.  They are on the MP2 wiki and the main site.

3.  Should the Bypassing Items page be condensed by removing skippable items?  The skipped items seem to be getting their own section.  If this is done, should the page be renamed Obstacles to Bypassing Items?

4.  Should the Speed Runs scection be reorganized?  The Bypassing Items and Low % links make more sence under Sequence Breaks.  If so, should the Completed Speed Runs page replace the Speed Runs page?
