Bah.  There's nothing wrong with Yakuza, in a general sense.  But, when you look at detail, he needs to die.  And so he shall.  The next time anyone in the world plays Fusion.

Btw, I'M BACK FROM FLORIDA!!!!!  That's why everyone was so happy, it was cuz i didnt post for about a month...  Bah...  Ah, well.  Florida rules.

I did a one % and got to Yakuza before. I absolutely hated him.The blow-chunks stage was the worst. Thank VBA for savestates. Then I got to Ridley...

You did it on VBA?  Bad person, very bad bad person.

*crosses self*

I had to do Ridley without savestates.  On an original GBA.  Brrrr.

*convulses*
yazuka was evil...ridly was really hard when i was trying to beat him with stategy (first run through, and this was my first 2-D metroid game ever) then i realized strategy is not the key. missles are. never stopping firing missles. dont worry about dodging. just keep aimed at ridly and fire missles. i beat him with almost an energy tank left :)

For the record, I have yet to get Fusion or Zero Mission for my SP. It was either one of those or MMBN3 White, and my friend had blue version. Now excuse me while I go kick some butt with Serenade.
Metroid Fusion isn't a very good game. I mean it's so easy to beat, But Zero Mission is a whole lot better. So if you can only buy one or the other buy Zero Mission (if you want a challenge that is). After you get enough money, buy fusion to increase your metroid collection.
Um, Zero Mission is by far the easiest Metroid game out there.
Well........... i dont really think so. Well that's just my opinion anyway. Anyways, i still think zero mission is still better.

Personally, I find 1% fusion runs to be far easier than 10% hard mode ZM runs.
lol no way
As do I, heh.. I wanna try a 1% Fusion run in a single segment, that would be super-intense, although I'd probably suck really bad at it... still be fun.
aj running fusion?

isn't that sort of like ... britney spears marrying mike tyson or something?

You mean, quite possible?
Ugh! Dont even start, Please!
You know, Yakuza never bothered me until I did my 1% run.  He was just another boss my first time through.  Then my friends started playing and whined about him.  I didn't think much of it.  Nightmare was harder, but definitely a fun difficult.  It was said that after Nightmare you no longer have the "Mustard" suit.  That was a downside for me...  I liked the Yellow Varia.  Then again, Yellow is my favorite color.  Ramble ramble ramble.

Definitely though, Yakuza is the bane of any 1% run, more than any other boss more because of the long segment leading up to him, than the fight itself.  Every time you die, half of your time is spent getting back up to him, then fighting til you die again.

He's not too hard the second time around if you know what you're doing.  ;)
