Which System(s) Do You Have?

I have all three systems, but I like The GCN the best. manly becaause GameCube has some really awesome games (Metroid prime, Custom Robo, ect.), X-Box controllers are weird a too big, and the PS2 doesn't have very good games (only ones I really like are FF-X and Guilty Gear X-2).

I own a GC. My roommate bought a PS2 for college (He told his dad we needed a DVD player. Rolling Eyes

). Eh that's about it for those selections.

I don't hate any of the systems, just X-Box has the most retarded controllers and a odd assortment of games.

Not to mention the system is huge. I could probably play tennis with that thing if it wasn't so heavy. Storage space in dorm rooms is limited; GCN is extra tiny and PS2 can be tilted on the side. X-Box... useful as a doorstop :P

I own all three... the orderI got them in was PS2, GC, XBOX...
I also have a GBASP, SNES(2nd body) , NES(2nd body), PS1(2nd body), DC, Genesis, N64, Virtual Boy (lol), GameGear, Sega Nomad, and SegaCD.

I play almost all of them regularly... (you should see the connections... what a nightmare it was to get it hooked up)

Back to the three 'next-gen'
I find the replay value for the GC games to be the best between the three, great multiplayer games, and the games are almost always creative.
PS2 offers some valued RPGs (my fav genre... I'm so glad the cube has some good RPGs now) and some excelent sims (GT3, anyone?)
XBOX has Halo, KotOR, DOA, Ninja Gaiden... I know half of those are also on PC... I have always prefered console *shrugs*

GC dominates the game collection between the three systems, followed by PS2, and a far 3rd with the XBOX.

The estimated values suck, they only count 1 version of a game. So my values were way skewed down.

I didn't think I'd ever hear of anyone owinging that many systems.

I got GC, SNES, Genesis, and N64. I had a Turbografix but gave it to a family member after I got the Genesis.

I can't understand why EVERYONE has to be so hatey toward the 'Box! I have twice as many XBox games as GC games, and similarly, I still play two XBox games regularly, while I only really care about one GC one (F-Zero GX). Plus, later, I'll buy the GTA3+VC pack for the 'Box, followed by Ninja Gaiden, followed by Halo 2, while the GC will only get the honor to play MP2:E for me. Also, I just borrowed Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance for the XBox, and I'll most likely be borrowing/buying Dancing Stage Unleashed again in a very near future. There's nothing like that to interest me about the GC. The PS2 has a superior arsenal of games, but it IS technically inferior, there's no way around that. Plus, I can't stand the PS2 controller. If I could, I'd use the XBox one for everything.

Don't you say the XBox sucks. Don't you say its games suck. Don't you say its controller sucks (if you think the original sucks, try the S one, if you think the S one sucks, try the original). Because if you do, I'll be forced to poke you and your prejudiced Kraid.

It's not prejudice when I've tried them out and say they suck... Never played Ninja Gaiden, and I hate Halo because I can't stand non-mouse and keyboard. And plus, you're being prejudice because you're calling us prejudice when most of us tried it and hated it. Sigh, let's get off this topic please. I really don't want to deteriorate into a flame war. My first post was meant to be non-serious :(

Couldn't afford the other two when it was time for me to buy a new console. And now I'm more poor than back then :P

But I'm going to buy a PS2 Dual Shock controller in the near future (which in my world means "at least in 365 days from now"). Why? Because I'm also going to buy a USB > PS2 converter and use it as a gamepad to my PC. Since it has two PS2 ports, I'm also going to buy a PS2 dance mat, so I can play Stepmania. When I find any songs, that is.

But I need money... I'll never buy all the things I want to (I have a list this long wiht stuff I want), but the things I'm ABSOLUTELY going to buy is a GBA SP NES Edition, the above mentioned stuff, and this: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-71-70-4i0.html (Freeloader combo)

Gamecube here.

It's the only one of the three that I really like. I've always hated Playstation (I think nearly every PS and PS2 game is terrible, even the RPG's), and Xbox just doesn't have enough games that interest me. Some, but not enough. Maybe if Rareware starts cranking out some nice games, I will purchse an Xbox. I've always liked Nintendo since I was a toddler, so it's consistently awesome games are the way to go for me.

I also have a NES, SNES, N64, Dreamcast, GB, GBC, GBA. No GBA SP though...I'll just get a Nintendo DS.

You can see how much I like Nintendo...I kind of want an XBOX (why does Microsoft insist on writing that in all-caps?) though.
