Tough choice between Meta Ridley and SM Ridley. On the one hand, Meta Ridley is all robotic and cool looking. On the other hand, SM Ridley has that thing where he's invisible in the intro.

Eh, I'll go with Meta Ridley. He's so pretty.

SM, although it's a tough choice between him and Meta. Classic's looks stupid as hell, and in Fusion, he was just... kinda tacked on because he's Ridley. And he was a step down in awesomeness all around too. Meta-Ridley's cool, but I just like SM Ridley better.

Meta Ridley. I don't care how good SM Ridley is, robot dragons are just better than ordinary dragons. Plus, I don't recall any of the other Ridleys requiring a whole temple to help put them down.

Any ridley is better than the one from Fusion. I mean not only was it a fake ridley, but it shrieked like a bitch the whole fight.

I can't wait untill I see what they've done for him in Zero Mission =)

Well, the classic Ridley was kinda cute if you ask me ;)

Super Ridley looks pretty cool, and he's got quite a few cans of whoopass. I love the way he smacks you around with his tail, although the hopping up and down part looks kind of silly, especially with sound turned off.

Fusion Ridley's introduction is quite cool, being frozen and all. After Zebes was destroyed, it must've taken quite some time to find all pieces of him flying through space. Too bad his final form is oegly :(

I don't own Metroid Fusion, but I've seen Meta Ridley in a speed run movie, and he looks quite badass :D My vote goes to him

Oh, I don't think Ridley-X (from Fusion) is ugly or anything. Nor does he look like a cartoon. He's just been warped by the X. I guess...

I voted for Meta-Ridley. He's the only one who put up a challenge to me.

While Meta Ridley was cool, I'm going to have to say Super Metroid Ridley. For one, the setting was way better than that in Metroid Prime. Lower Norfair (Ridley's Hideout if you prefer) is one of the most awesome levels ever conceived and traversing it to reach Ridley is rewarding in itself. The sense of being in the depths of the planet, surrounded by lava and doing battle with a dragon is one of the most astounding situations I can think to be in. Of course, Ridley is also a challenge to face, or was the first couple times through. It's still a treat to play.

Meta Ridley seems a little tacked-on. I was like, oh yeah, I forgot about him, when I fought him on my first run through MP. It's a good battle though and I'm not complaining. Besides, Ridley needed to be put in MP somewhere. It's tradition! 8)

Super metroid. Meta Ridley is cool, but meh. Just didnt like him as much. I guess it was the setting. Lower norfair was just much cooler.

SM ridley was also a lot harder. esepecially in a 34% run.

original just looked Ghey along with fusion's.

First time I met Ridley on the original Metroid (Via Fusion and Prime connection) I couldn,t believe how easy he was and how ugly he was. I mean, I consider him my nemesis in the Metroid world so I was majorly dissapointed.

there actually was some sort of challenge hurting the thing, unlike every other ridley where its just point and shoot.... run out of missiles, charge up shoot, dodge (but not much, no reason too)

I prefer things that take effort to take down..

agreed. meta ridley is a very well designed boss, especially in the na versions.
