Same thing happened to me, except that all the tiles were the top of a pb door. Not even a hint of regular.
Hated by all
Acheron, the patch is screwed up, and looks rather choppy. Hence the pun "Screwed and Chopped". Or else, tell me what a pun is.

Aegis, Insanity, and Alliance.

No offense to DMantra, but cliffhanger just looks like another ultra hard tedious hack that well...won't leave me feeling accomplished because i'll have to abuse save states.
Almost happy

I do that for pretty much every hack... Even the really easy ones. I just find it more enjoyable for some odd reason. Or maybe it has to do with OCD.

Oh trust me, you'll be feeling very accomplished when/if you beat it.
I don't see savestating that bad, I do it all the time. If you save at a comfortable juncture where you haven't botched yourself to be screwed within a milisecond it's all good.
It is very hard yes, but tedious? I don't know, it depends on the players criteria.
I'll be making another preview video soon that will show some of the hacks lavish rooms in general, and not just a bunch of masochistic areas I took devilish pride in showcasing. lol
the metroid is a lie !
i am waiting for mine to get finished goddamit :D.
(full ver of containment)
(better yet a new name sometime).
Aegis and Cliffhanger.

Aegis for pure awesomeness in design and a bit of fresh air with some other new stuff.

Cliffhanger for the good ol' challenge.

Yeah, same here...maybe its just a matter of being spoiled.  Why restart from a save station if you can save state?

Well, I do enjoy a challenge.  What I do not enjoy, though, is horrific suitless challenges (ESPECIALLY in Maridia).

Yeah, that one is getting pretty old. It wasn't even very fun the first time let alone the n:th time :|

Suitless norfair is getting pretty old too, but that at least is not slow, boring and long.
:|  Maybe this is a bad time to mention that I'm planning a suitless underwater segment...  It's not going to be too long though, and the reward will be more than worth it.  Plus you'll only have to do it once.
Almost happy
Well as long as it is not the whole maridia or for a really long time. If the reward is really good and the challenge is well done without being to long it's not that bad. I'm just really tired of playing full maridia or stuff like pre gravity in redesign.
. . .
But without pre-gravity maridia, the grapple beam is almost useless, save ceiling grappling...

Isn't side grapple useless anyway? You can pretty much wall jump anywhere you would need to use side grapple.

I'd go as far as saying underwater grapple has some of the most potential, just because of the sheer distance that is possible to be covered.

Side grapple is really only useful underwater!  Although.... I put side grapple to good use here!

If you don't mind abusing game glitches, side grapple can be used to pass through walls (used this technique in Hangtime).

For example, I bet I can get stuck in the wall in that room Squishy Ichigo just posted a pic of grin new
You could probably even grapple glitch your way through the left door without opening it. Side grapple is uber glitchy, but I guess not totally useless. I forgot that I use it in Soup's Crocomire area.
