Well, it did here anyway. Maybe the stores are weird. Actually, they probably are.

Hehe, oh well.

EDIT: "It" refers to the GBA. It started at like $105 and went down to about $95 in a few weeks.

the stores were overpricing it, thats somewhat illegal to my knowledge.

then i guess they were trying to compensate for it?
well still, price set aside, what's the deal with this battery? 2 or so hours, thats horrible. assuming it's that short of a life-span, what are you going to do on long trips, say on vacations? Especially if you can't remove the batteries and replace them, a short life span on the battery of a portable system = a bad idea.

Use one of those car recharger things that plug into the cigarette lighters.

I thought the crap battery was on the PSP.

it is.  the DS is still slated for "over 10 hours"
Wow 10 hours!  That's good.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
I have yet to find batteries that last as long as those systems say the should, I know my GBA batteries last nowhere near that long, but I have a tendancy to play straight through a game whith out stopping, which might not help much.

The batteries that came with the original GBA lasted me an entire 28 hour game of golden sun. O_o

My SP batteries last me around 8 hours or so with the light on, and thats quite nice in my opinion.
Those are like test-tube conditions. They'll rarely re-occur but they can argue that it's true cuz it happened

Ready and willing.
Yeah. Although Nintendo did adjust for reality with their Gamecube specs.
All I know about the DS is that the "DS" stands for Dual Screen. It has two screens and the bottum one is touch senitive so you can aim or switch through your inventory by touching the screen while still playing the game, and if your facing a monster that is massive, like Kraid, he wil appear in both screens. It is supposed to have the graphics of a N64 and if you seen the trainor for Metroid:Hunters you'd even think Game Cube. It is also suppoed to have wierless internet capabilities. So you can chat and play games with people over the country, which I think they well screw us over with and try and charge us money every month for using it. It is suppoed to come out after Christmas, for some strange reaso, but I herd that a while ago so who knows now. Retail is suppoed to start at $200 USD. Save your pennies people. :)
