Ok...I've been wondering the answer to this question.

There are 2 (maybe more) yellow doors in Crateria. Yellow doors are opened by Super Bombs, right?

How do you get the superbomb BEFORE being in the Pirate Ship and BEFORE beating Mother Brain? In other words, while still being on the Fortress, Castle, whatever it is, so I can get the siperbomb and see what's behind those yellow doors in Crateria?

Has anyone tried this or wondered as well?
Thread title:
You can return to Crateria and the rest of the areas after getting the power bombs.  You are correct that you cannot get the power bombs before going to the pirate ship (yes, this has been tried), but you can backtrack to the glass tube connecting the pirate ship to Chozodia and blow up that tube with a bomb, opening up the way to return to the other areas
NO WAY!

I should have...oh dear. But didn't it all get blown up?

Wow...Awesome I didn't know that!
everybody knows it's true
The door turns in to a blue one afterwards.
Yes, any door that requires special stuff (missiles, super missiles, power bombs) to open it turns blue after it's been opened that way once.  Your phrasing might confuse him/her, as you didn't specify after what.
Sorry I just woke up and I can't type well...
Actually, I was answering Mr. Aran's post just now, not yours.
Sorry, and by the way, im a he.
aren't yellow doors opened with Power Bombs?

Check out any 100% walkthroughs and they'll give you full details on how to get on the main part of Zebes from the Mother Ship. Or, I'll try and remember....lessee here....OK. What you do is use a Power Bomb on the glass tube (reminiscent of SM) and it'll break, giving you access to a lower area. Drop some more Power Bombs near the walls and you'll find a way through to a path that takes you straight back to Crateria. I think that's it anyway. If I'm wrong, someone please speak up.
I call them Superbombs...

Ok...so I got me a good share of superbombs...

How do I get out of the pirate mothership to access the old areas (Crateria, Brinstar, Tourian, and so on).
Read my last post for everything you need to know. Unless it turns out to be wrong, in which case I'll hide my face in shame, and someone else will tell you.

yeah, thats the passage i use. Unless there is some other secret passage out of chozodia.  Laughing
Not that I know of...
omg...im there! Breaking the glass tube was fun Laughing

That is so cool.

Thanks!

by the way...may be out of topic but how many missiles, super missiles and power bomb tanks are there? I have about 12 powerbombs, 22 supermissiles and 130 missiles.

In total? I believe there are a max of 50PB, 150SM and 250M. Don't quote me on that though.
in the name of justice!
18 Power Bombs, 250 Missiles, 30 Super Missiles (on normal).  On hard PBs and SMs are cut in half, and missiles reduced to 40%, making 9 PBs, 15 SMs, and 100 Missiles (there are 50 missile tanks).

There's only one way out of Chozodia, through the tube.  There are two ways back in though because there's a falling block blocking the way through the upper tube.
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
This isn't Fusion, DZ.
I'm pretty sure it's a missile block (that stays gone), not a falling block, that keeps you from getting out of Chozodia that way.  Once you've gone in that way once you can get back out that way too; part of the 100% route involves getting up to that yellow door through the water/platform room near Unknown #1, going in and getting some stuff, and then going back out the same way to get that one speed-blocked missile.

Aren't there more like 74 PB in Fusion?  It's some insanely high number because all 100 percentages have to be tanks and there's only one kind of missile tank.

yeah, that's right,, and it's a morph ball tunnel with the missile block above it.  i started watching the hard 100% (why i bought the game) then i stopped so i could find the stuff, and i haven't seen the chozodia sections.
Yup, im on the main part of Zebes discovering all of the secrets and collecting the items with the help of the dark side of the force...

So far I have 12 powerbombs, 150 missiles and 22 super missiles...

Missiles are everywhere...And I have almost all of the enrgy tanks.
Glad we could help. I hope you enjoy your 100% completion-ness.
