Metroid: SR388? I tried going to metroidsr388.com but all it is is a white screen now. Did it die or was it just some fancy shmancy flash animation made to look like a fan game?

As far as I know this fangame is said to be dead. (RIP!! Boo hoo!)
There was a release date for a demo but it never released...
I hope this is all crap and this awesome game will release one time.... Crying or Very sad

But seriously.  Was it said to be dead? 

If not...  This is either very good (something big is coming) or very bad (it really is dead).

I believe with the current state of the economy, and the fact that just 2 months ago they found a NEW Lead Coder, it's just in a hiatus status. The project isn't dead, or they would have told us........and just because we haven't heard anything isn't necessarily bad. It could mean that it's nearing completion, or that they don't want to release any more spoilers to the public.

Either way, they're going to release it I'm sure when everybody believes it's dead and forgets about it.....or whenever they deem appropriate.

I haven't heard that it was dead.  Someone should email projectleaderguy and ask for an update.

The project isn't dead. The site's just dead to lower traffic, and to reduce the amount of people asking questions about a release date, updates, etc.

It'll be done when it's done. PLG himself said that this was the one project he wanted to finish before he quits coding altogether.

Last thing i saw in regards to the web site was that it got hit with spambots or something. I so hope it is still going... the level of skill shown with that game is mindblowing.
