the eighties really did ruin a lot of good music
I loved The Stranger. Especially title track and "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant".
One shall stand, one shall ball.
We Didn't Start the Fire owns and is literally the only Billy Joel song worth shit.

I actually heard it the first time in my US history class junior year. We had a student teacher at the time, it was probably part of why the regular teacher got her fired. Which was too bad cause she owned and was way better at her job than he was.
I was kind of joking. Every school year where we would learn about the Cold War, a teacher would play that song and then say how it completely missed the important parts of that era.

i think it's fitting for the 80s though
red chamber dream
like no one really worried about much for most of it and the biggest thing was like cocaine
red chamber dream
so everyone was just happy and why would they worry about the real problems of past decades?
Wonder if I should post some more cheesy European 80s music for tbob to rock out to.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
I for one find the cola wars way more interesting than the actual cold war shit.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
I'll admit dumb ass 80s music gives me a huge boner.
red chamber dream
yeah but i mean the cold war like didn't even really matter much for us in the 80s

i mean it wasn't like the 60s or vietnam, nowhere near as bad

Crack was actually part of a communist plot to bring us down from the inside. Too bad the failed to account for our utter disregard for poor people and black people. Also black people who are poor. Stupid commies.
red chamber dream
right but the people making music didn't give a shit because they were rich and therefore making music
red chamber dream
tbob are you serious haha because no way, i mean crack was made just for money, that's capitalism man
