I dunno, Skid Row's Little Wing was pretty bad.
Quote from tomatobob:
Gonna replace vocals by one of the best vocalists ever with generic rock vocals, this is a Great Plan.

Don't cover Queen songs, dumbshits.

Hey, don't leave Bowie out of the picture. He's pretty good, too.

It seems like all I've done recently is try to troll tbob whenever I see him online. I should stop doing that :/

It's cool.

Listened lots, was transcribing some piano sheet music for it earlier.
I might have posted this before... Oh well, it's still awesome:
Club 27 Goals
In Flames - The Chosen Pessimist

I'll be disappointed if this doesn't get played at my funeral whenever I die. Easily my favorite song of all time, and it's been on my main playlist for about 6 years, never taken it off.
Club 27 Goals
Club 27 Goals
The Roots - Undun

This whole album is really damn good.
Little Brother's The Minstrel Show... Holy shit, probably the best hip-hop album I've heard from the 00's. So good.
Chrono Trigger music, on a Whiz Khalifa song?

More possible than you think:
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Childish Gambino - Sunrise

You know he's sampled Sonic too right? Pretty cool

God this whole album is so fucking cool. There's like 4 tracks at the end of it that are nothing but piano and stuff, and it just flows through the whole thing so well.
Almost happy
Listening to a lot of PJ Harvey's discography. Stories from the City, White Chalk, Let England Shake. Plenty of good stuff.

the mars volta - noctourniquet

really hard to judge a new record from a band like the volta. they've become such a different thing from when they started, and practically all their albums are vastly different in most ways. it's not a bad thing though - this is definitely a huge step up from their previous effort, which is by far my least favorite album of theirs.

lots of electronic stuff on this one, with much less guitars. here's my favorite track so far: http://samuel.arkarian.org/the_mars_volta/noctourniquet/07%20In%20Absentia.mp3

kind of fun listening to how much this band changes over the years. it's a natural progression, and you can always hear some of the previous album in each new release. <3 tmv

bit change of pace from what i was listening to ... rainy day women - bob dylan

man i fucking love this album.
Did you get stoned after listening to that song?
red chamber dream
well, before
red chamber dream
it is like one of the best songs ever though, and the album too is like up there
Eh, it's average for me. I'm not the biggest fan of folk, despite liking some of Dylan's stuff.
