Gorillaz are too awesome to mash up with anything. I should look around for some Cudi mashups though.
now this on the otherhand is A+
dem vocals. It's funny when you know he's just fucking around to have fun with it. I wish more music artists wouldn't take themselves so god damn seriously all the time, like when Eminem made that Fack song.
Is it weird though that how much I like a song is heavily influenced by how much I like the person making it? Like if I kinda like a song, and listen to it a few times, then find out the guy is some total jackass then it will really put me off from the song. Then the other way around, if it turns out the person is amazing then the song really grows on me. BUT, if it's someone I personally know that made the song, and I listened to it after I met them, I almost never like it, even if I'm like best friends with the person.
yeah actually I think you're right, I just love it in general. It can stand by itself perfectly fine, but it's also like a boost to whatever else really.
Pretty sure I've listened to all of Lupe Fiasco's stuff so far. He's got a really chill style, but its either good or just falls short for me.
Good example would be his Lazers album. His songs either come off as catchy and cool, or just cheesy and crappy. His older stuff tends to be much better though
Piano is pretty nice. Like, even if I weren't biased because it's the first (and so far only, unless you count a year of trumpet) instrument I learned to play, it just sounds so good, especially really high notes and really low notes. I try to put it in as many of my own songs as I can.
My quitting trumpet was less that I didn't like the instrument and more that the instructor hated me and I was getting up waaay too early to go to band.
Although frankly I didn't like it that much, either. :B
