yeah it seems that way, i mean i like some of their stuff i heard as a kid, it's just never been special to me.

(plus, the stone roses did it way better way earlier)

Liam Gallagher is an okay vocalist. He seems like a total asshole personality-wise, though.

the thing about the stone roses is kind of funny because popular opinion is that oasis kind of stole the roses' thunder but I never thought they were similar bands soundwise at all

I love the straightforward rock style of Oasis' first two albums. It lacks a lot of the weirdness that some 90s rock as to offer.
