Bob Marley - Red wine (remix, but it's not like a techno or dubstep remix or anything, it's just kinda... shuffled up, idk)
I'll spoil it this time.  I seen how long it takes a page to load with so many youtube vids on it.

Indie Lover

This guy is pretty awesome.
a catchy song from an extremely difficult game:

I want more music like this.
Yeah, that kind of funk never really became popular here in the west. Good stuff, though...
It's jazz funk, but not in the 80s Level 42 way.

That style of music pretty much started in the west.

I know that, but I'm talking about this specific subgenre of funk, which never became popular here.
Level 42 were pretty big in the UK and they were jazz funk with some typically 80s synth work. If they had actual jazz instrumentation (saxes and stuff), it'd be pretty much the same as the track I posted. Instead we got this.
oh and the germans loved them, too. wonder if the blue-eyed blonde frontman had something to do with it.
It's totally out-of-character for me to listen to stuff like this, but ever since someone linked it in another forum and I listened to it, it's been stuck firm in my head... d'oh!

My grandma likes this one by Dre, but I'm pretty sure she wasn't even listening to the lyrics. It was kinda awkward <.<
