oh man i love the captain jack version on ddr. actually hadn't heard the original before. the video rocks too.

nothing is catchier 80s-wise than dire straits's walk of life though:

Yeah, Brothers in Arms is an awesome album. I still have the CD version of the album in relatively good condition.
Dig that ghostly groove
I love the jazzy guitar in that track. SOTN's soundtrack is the best thing about the game.

Judgement's version of Dracula's Castle is fantastic.
There's not much to it, but I really enjoy this mix.

Eh, it just doesn't live up to SoTN's version.

I really enjoy the original Bruce Springsteen version, but Sony Music Entertainment decided to be a bitch, and remove all the videos that had that song from YT /rage

I listened to the Springsteen version earlier today, and I really didn't care for it.  Pity, since I really do like him.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Springsteen's version is so awful. Goddamn that man does not have the voice for that sort of song.

Not really a Springsteen fan anyway though.

It's supposed to be a silly, upbeat song, not some mysterious bluesy prog-rock tune like Manfred Mann's version. I hate version so much, it's terribly overrated.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Whatever he was going for in his version, he completely missed the mark and instead delivered one of the single worst vocal performances I've ever heard. He actually could have pulled off Mann's version, it would suit his voice better.
But instead he did Jungleland, which kicked that song's ass to oblivion.

No, but it's a bit more polished, y'know?

Listening to this on the Walkman in Peace Walker

Club 27 Goals
Well I heard this song on the radio like an hour ago, and just got the urge to listen to it again when I looked over this thread.
Why the fuck that track wasn't on the DVD is astounding. It's incredible.
I love the soundtrack to the Japanese version of Castlevania III. It's the second best soundtrack in the entire series, IMO:

Damn you NES! Why couldn't you use a VCR6 sound chip like the Famicom!?
