Okay, I don't recall seeing this little thing anywhere, ever. So here goes:

In the elevator room of Ridley's Hideout (i.e. you're at the bottom of the elevator), there are two holes in the ceiling on either side. You can bomb jump/boost/unmorph up through the holes and end up in a black void (or alternately, I suppose you could do the wall-door trick to get up there. But where's the fun in that?) If you move left off the screen you reappear on the right, and vice versa. You can shoot in one direction, run off the screen, and get hit by your own shot! It's just a neat little area that you probably weren't supposed to get to, and when you're done, you can drop back through the holes and continue playing normally.

Enjoy!  Wink

What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
I've always wondered why those holes were there anyways...
Haha, cool, I'll have to try that.

How else would you explain the similarities between them.
  • AFIAK they were released the same day.
  • They have very similar password systems.
  • They have the EXACT same level format.
  • When scrolling vertically the screen wraps (this thread proves it).

Those are only a few of the similarities.
Man, im gonna have to try that
