If Prime can do it, why can't we?

Vote for as many times as fit your schedule, and next week we can just go with whatever gets the most votes, or something? The point is, we need to race each other so we can all experience the pleasures of getting destroyed by Miles, failing at ILS, not being able to jump at Dark Suit Skip, etc.

I know that everyone will probably think I'm an idiot, but I never streamed anything before in my life. (Maybe someone can explain how to stream something for me?) I would love to be a part of this. I have been running echoes segmented for a few months now, using the same route miles used in his 1:01 test run. I am also guessing that we will be doing single segment any%?

I'm not sure it'll actually be single segment, given that we'll have to safety save for all those wonderful run-killers the game has. Probably any% at first, but we could try 100% or 7% some time as well. Or 6%, if we feel like killing ourselves.

I assume you're playing on a Wii or Cube. In order to stream, you'll need a capture card. You can probably find something cheap on Amazon. You'll also need a way to send the output to both your TV and your computer. Either use a splitter, or get a composite cable that also has S-Video out. You can grab any useful software at http://speedrunslive.com/tools/

If you're doing single-segment in races, you're doing something wrong.

100% is also very long, so uh yeah. I don't think anyone does 100% seriously besides me and miles (and miles has barely touched the category after getting his 1:56)

The races go by RTA time which means you can die/reset as many times as you want but the timer keeps going during all of it.

It looks like at least 5 people have voted, so that should be all of us, right?

Since Saturday Night has the most votes, do you guys want to start around 9pm Saturday? I assume runs will take 2-3 hours, because we all suck at this game.

Oh, and Miles, I'm pretty sure the experience of getting destroyed by you is fairly similar to having to put up with a good Frigate on your PB. So you get destroyed by yourself way more often than we do.

Also metroid177 you don't need to stream to race (though it's nice if you do of course, so we can help you with things more easily :P). You only need to stream on srl in races if you're playing on emulator, which shouldn't be a problem since hopefully you're running on a gamecube?

maskedkirby and me live in germany means its 5 hours later for us
meaning we would have to play till 5 am so we couldnt participate. Crying or Very sad

so please do it at like 5-6pm if everybody is ok with that.

The problem with that is the Prime Speedruns were aiming for 7pm. We could start at five, but I don't know how many people would be able to finish in 2 hours.
