I played this at a demo station at Best Buy... soooo cool.  I want this game so incredibly badly now.  And it's not just limited to me, I know that; my friend was insulting it when he first saw it, now he's played the game, he likes it, and wishes it was on PS2 (he doesn't have GCN).  So, is anyone else waiting (not so) patiently for this game like I am?

Hell yeah I'm looking foreward to this. My old topic praising it was lost in the void, though...

I haven't played my demo disc since I got Soul Calibur 2, but I used to play the crap out of PreViewtiful Joe (heh). You can tell the game is gonna have an assload of replay value, just from the demo. You can keep going back and trying to increase your score, or trying your powers in different situations, or trying your powers in different situations to increase your score.

Joe is gonna rock.

I know, it's just the first level but it has me hooked already.

Ya see, every Monday and Thursday (tomorrow, yay!) I get out of school at 2:30 while most others gotta wait until 3:15.  I use this time to go to the Best Buy and play the hell outta the demo, since I'm too cheap to buy the $10 preview disc (can you blame me?).  If just the first level has that kind of effect on me then I don't know what the actual game will do...  I can't wait :D .

The preview disc was worth it to me, solely for Joe and Soul Calibur 2. Granted, that was before SC2 came out, so it was slightly more worthwhile. At this point, it would be a waste, as Joe comes out in 2 months, and all the other games on it are released (except for Billy Hatcher, which, going by the demo, looks to be terrable).

I'll get it eventually, but alas, life sucks when you're a chief staff member for one of the largest MM sites around, and you have to save money for Mega Man X7, Mega Man Zero 2, as well as the Mega Man and Mega Man X Anniversary Collections. Bwah.

But yeah, "Viewtiful" looks quite beautiful; I may rent it and play it for a while.

Joe comes out next WEEK.

I can't wait for the game, i just need to get ahold of the money... If only i didn't spend it all on family guy....

Game looks like its going to be amazing, and I know quite a few people who imported it when it came out in japan, sadly, none of them live close enough to play that copy though.

If i do get Viewtiful Joe, it won't be until my birthday (november 1st). I might try and get MMX7 and MMZ2 then as well, still not sure. But since i have rogue squadron 3 pre-ordered, i'll be picking that up on the 21st.

So many games >_<

Okay, so I preordered Joe today from EB (one day before it ships, heh) along with Rebel Strike, and I wasn't really expecting any big bonus, since they never announced anything about it anywhere I looked, and guess what they gave me? A Viewtiful Joe t-shirt and a "lazer cel" complete with certificate of authenticity. Talk about a pleasant suprise.

I think I"m still in chapter two.  I went through the city, and beat the helicopters in front of the really big building (which I then went into).  I got up to floor 30, where you gotta hit the bombs in slow motion to break open the doors, and I can't get past there.
