I messed around with crumble blocks on the console last night and it's quite possible to get the correct timing without slowdown -- it's just really fucking hard. I got about halfway to the energy tank before I ran out of energy. If anybody could do it, Wassup probably could.

I've done it before, even without the varia suit, which lets you get it earlier. But, *sigh* I dont have proof of doing it on the console.

A simple and no-damage way of fighting all three SA-X forms at the end of the game. Could be added to these SA-X tricks especially since it's a simple no-damage method that requires nothing fancy. But it is kinda slow, as you don't get flare damage in there...[/url]

Boy, I love this game. Except that there is NO sequence breaking between bosses. the highest bit of sequence breaking I found turned out to be a glitch.
