That's not necessarily the last save point in the game.
And even if it is, there's still the time used to beat Mecha Ridley and escape.
Dude, it only takes three minutes to beat MR and escape from the last save point. And that's WITH mistakes. That save is probably from after beating the chozo test thing (maybe before, I'm not sure).
ummm.. that doesn't really answer my question. maybe I wasn't clear enough. for my time to be recorded do I have to put the code in when I start a new game or can I put it in at the last save point.
Sorry for the stupid question, but it's asking if it's OK to erase all saved data. Save the fact the yellow and green Samus symbol wont't be erased (the fact you beat the game).
If I say yes, I lose everything and start at the beginning? I'm just a naive as to what might happen.
Savage-Monkey: Yes, you have to put the code in before you start the game. Entering the code doesn't tell it to save your time, it just unlocks the Time Attack Mode. This will appear on the same menu with Continue/New after you select a save slot. Just select "New Time Attack" to have it save times.
MMRising: Yes, it erases where you have it saved and you have to start over. If you don't want to lose the saved game just copy it to another slot before saying yes.
Okay, I think the time of saving was wrong. It was either 36:56 or 36:06 or something else between 36:00 and 36:59. Kinda of a big difference isn't it? Well, I'll post it later. By the way, what's the best time for entering Tourian? I'm doing a time attack game for any% and I want it perfect.
I can't seem to find where I'm supposed to enter my code etc on that Metroid site. My computer doesn't like the japanese language so I can't see all the text (of which I understand 0% of anyway). Is the competition even open yet?
By the way, what's the best time for entering Tourian? I'm doing a time attack game for any% and I want it perfect.
I was at Tourian in 16:56 on my run. I'm not sure what time aj had here, though. The "perfect" time would probably be around 16:20, but if you're really trying to get everything perfect, well good luck...
Heh, good luck, man, but I think it probably ended a long time ago. I wonder how it would feel to win that....
Zero mission wasn't even out in japan "a long time ago" It came out sometime late last month, these contests usually last around a month or so, judging by the past ones.
Sigh.. yeah, I know. I'm actually really put down, it would be so great if they took our times. I hope that now that we know about this, Nintendo will do a contest here... but then, that's really only a hope. Probably won't. Cause they suck (just kidding).
