I recently purchased the ATI all-in-one 128 pro (which is a bit outdated, I know), and I'm having trouble recording my audio properly. For testing purposes, I simply have my Gamecube hooked up directly to the card via the composite inputs (yellow video and red & white audio). I've followed all instructions on Nate's guide on recording, capturing, and the such. I get a great looking video recorded and encoded, but I end up with no audio on any of the files. Is there a way I can check to see if my card is working properly, or if I am simply having something hooked up wrong? Any ideas?

In the windows audio mixer, under the recording section, have you got the correct input selected and the volume turned up?

Yeah, I have everything enabled and turned up, simply because I'm not sure which input it is that's taking in audio from the card.

Alright... Never mind. I suck... I have my ATI going from "CDout" to the "aux" on my audio card. Aux is the port that I have selected and turned up in my mixer, but I'm still getting nothin'. I'm not sure what the CD in "CDin" and "CDout" on the ATI mean, but they're the only plugs for the small cord that goes to the audio card, and I've tried recording while plugged into either one. Still nothing; any other ideas?

C'mon, guys; 31 views (well, assuming 5 or 6 are mine, make it 25) and 1 reply? I know you guys can help me out.  :(  I'm getting zero sound from my GC...

Edit: Alright; I finally found an online user guide and I think I have to go get another cable, so thanks anyway.
