sweet, my 105:28 is still the best time around. can't no one compete with me!
Really, the only way we'll beat you is if someone shows up in this post with no metroid games played (or just one, and forgot time)
I'm pretty close to that...let's see...
ZM: 15:00 (I never looked at the time for this, too annoyed at the 99%) M1: 20:00 M2: 20:00 MP: 20:00 P2: 20:00 SM: 3:30 (I've only played twice, okay?) M4: 15:00 (I know my first time was about 19h, don't remember my second)
That gives me, oh, 113:30. Hah!
Come to think of it, I've never completed any of the three I've actually finished more than twice. I think. My compulsion to find everything pretty much makes me not feel much need to play again for quite a while.
new fusion time: 1:31 so that puts me at . . . . 35:04
off topic question: does anybody hav a copy of RoS I could borrow? wanna get rid of that awful 20 hour timestamp for it. it makes me feel empty on the inside knowing that I dkon't have RoS (well it dosne't but I am a completionist with the things/games that I like. now I really want RoS)
Metroid: 20:00 Metroid II: Return of Samus: 1:57 Super Metroid: 5:37 Metroid Fusion: 1:47 Metroid Prime: 5:52 Metroid Prime 2: Echoes: 7:17 Metroid: Zero Mission: 1:04
Total is...43:34
Not that great...
I'm working on a 100% MP speed run, so that should go down to under 2:30 (hopefully). Once I get my hands on a copy of Fusion, I'll probably do another run of that. I've only gone through SM once, so that's why the time isn't that great. I don't care if the time is bad, I'm never touching MP2:E again. Also, I should try to play Metroid via MZM to get rid of that 20:00.
For the confused, when Mr. Aran had asked over at SCU, "mind if I take this over to m2k2?", my response was, "be my guest - but be warned that it's quite a bit of work". I TOLD YOU! BUT ONLY NOW DO YOU BELIEVE ME!!! ... Anyway, one more edit for Mr. Aran. My best ever MZM run had been my only ever run of MZM - 4:08. I picked it back up this last week, and did a normal mode-no sequence breaking-no speed tricks-any% run. Finished in 2:32. Still quite slow, but it's slightly less embarrassing. That lowers my TMT by 1:36, so down from 19:44 to a new TMT of 18:08. ... My times, for any interested enough to look: Metroid - 0:41 Metroid: Zero Mission - 2:32 Metroid Prime - 1:58 Metroid Prime 2: Echoes - 6:28 Metroid 2: Return of Samus - 1:54 Metroid 3: Super Metroid - 3:03 Metroid 4: Metroid Fusion - 1:32 ... My next goals are to get a halfway decent MZM time (meaning 1:15 or less) and to do a full-on sequence breaking speed run of Echoes (hopefully sub-3:00) ... Expect the MZM run in a couple of weeks. ... Expect the Echoes run sometime next year.
For all of the Metroid games minus Prime times: Metroid 1: 20:00 Metroid 2: 20:00 Metroid 3: 20:00 Metroid ZM: 20:00 Metroid Fusion: 20:00 Metroid Prime 1: 9:38 Metroid Prime 2: 16:38
Total Time: (Too Ashamed to admit) somewhere around 136:00
The previous time I submitted for Metroid Prime 2 was incomplete. I read the front topic, and it said I can use 15:00 if I have started the game and not finished it, so I did that.
EDIT: Changed Metroid Prime 2's completion time as incomplete to 20:00.
Nope. It says that if you have completed the game, but don't remember your time, you can use 15:00. If you have never completed a game, it's 20:00. ... I should know. I wrote the rules myself.
