Yes, I know: I already completed the single player game. Sad huh?

Anyway, just like the rest of the games, this is for all of your completion records, although Hunters keeps track of a few other things:

- Time: 08:59
- Items: 62%
- Deaths: 49 (Yikes)
- Hunters/Guardians Killed: 71

You all  know the drill.

You might consider this cheap or cheating, but a death is only recorded when you die and choose yes to "continue from last checkpoint" insead of saying no and loading from your last save.

Most of my deaths so far come from getting flattened in the piston cave. :D but I havent finished the game yet.

Not cheating at all, since it's built into the game and obviously intentional, but that's still borked as shit. And if the single-player mode is under ten hours ... crips, I might not be buying this game after all.
Cook of the Sea
Yeah man WHO WANTS a game you can beat in under ten hours.
hmm...maybe one that has an awesome multiplayer/wifi capabilities allowing for endless hours of gameplay and infinite self improvement...

just maybe tho ;-)
everybody knows it's true

Really? It took me over twenty hours the first time through Prime, and well over ten for Fusion and Super. As time goes on, the games should get longer, not shorter. I like to take my time in games the first time through.

What was your first time to beat metroid prime 1? Mine was a little over 10 hours, then after that I beat hard mode in 8. In reality, it was a lot longer than that though because of the number of timse I've died. The game cant count the time you spend when you screw up and load from a save.

-edit- nevermind you answered the question arleady lol

See above - over twenty hours.

It's much lower now, though. :P

I usually rush though the game on my first time, then break it down later. My first ZM game was about 4 hours.

See, I'm the exact opposite. I try and do EVERYTHING in the first go, since I probably won't want to pick the game up again right away.

I thought that a crappy game makes a game crap. :P

Honestly, though, I know I'll end up buying Hunters, since I'm definitely getting a DS for Kirby CC and Zelda. Might as well pick this one up, too.
horray! your getting a DS and Hunters and other great games as well!

edit: careful no to drop your ds on the ds cartrage side. remeber DS is not desiged for counter impact. Its designed like an X wing so it can fly apprently.

back @ topic:
Already finished? Hell, the game's out since Monday!?!?!
....
lol no way
I uh, I finished last night too... assuming we've beaten it in this topic, a quick comment:
I was fighting Gorea (which the game never explains the origin or purpose of, wtf...), and I was "sniping" his shoulders... and uh, he started having a siezure. I didn't know how to hurt him at this point, but found out eventually to just go with Power Beam. It took me a while though, during which he just sort of shoot extremely violently while sort of skittering around, though his legs featured no animation but rather seemed to be propelling his body via the three frame dance his entire body was taking part in. Just wanted to throw that out there... after I destroyed his shoulders he sort of was propelled really quickly near one of the edges, then he went through the standard... soul-leaves-body animation. Man but that was weird.

Will edit post with times/percent in a bit, though I know my percent was like 70 and my time was like... 8:14.
PAGE BREAKER
Ready and willing.
Time: 10h 45m
87% complete (high score yay)

Hunters and Guardians defeated: 78
Gorea Battle time 53m 38s (yeah, almost an hour. XD the true battle, plus I spent a lot of time going around in circles getting health from those doohickeys in the first form.)

EDIT: Records says phase 1 was 48m 59s and phase 2 was a mere 4m 39s.

EDIT2:
Quote from aj:

The scans mention him a lot. Sure, his origin is a mystery, but so was Metroid Prime's.
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.

for the gorea battle would that be 42 seconds or minutes?
Bangaa Bishop
That's minutes. There's no way you could possibly beat even the second form in 44 seconds.
