i don't like old people either (who does?) but at least i can treat them like human beings and understand why they do what they do. this shit is just fucking insane though
I don't really have too much of a problem with old people (except the fact that they can't seem to work technology), but people that fat bother me. I don't understand how anyone gets to be like that or can stand to stay like that.

hell i bother myself and i'm average weight

think i'm gonna drop like 20 pounds though
Club 27 Goals
I don't do shit physically. I just don't see a point currently, since I've stayed a good weight without doing really anything. I'm probably really un-fit though, so if I had to run a race I'd be screwed.

otherwise I look fine and feel fine.
I'm probably a bit overweight (not enough that I consider it a problem) but if I got to be that bad, I would be doing something. I'm also horribly out of shape though, I can't run to save my life.
Club 27 Goals
yeah if I ever got to the point where I looked in the mirror and could say "yeah, I'm getting chubby" that'd be motivation enough to get more fit. And honestly in my head it doesn't seem like it'd be that hard either, just going on runs and eating right at least.

i'm a fairly decent runner. advantage #8234912 of having long legs. ;)

oh right, this is the youtube thread. i've been watching a lot of shows on the national geographic channel lately. drugs, inc is particularly good:

there's other episodes on youtube about other drugs - interesting stuff. border wars is another fun show. who knew nat geo was such a good channel?
One shall stand, one shall ball.
The educational channels are cool as shit when they actually want to be. Usually it's dumb shit like people going into abandoned buildings and freaking out over literally nothing because ghosts!
One shall stand, one shall ball.

Just running and eating better isn't really an effective way to go about that.

to stay in shape?
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Yeah. You'll mostly just end up a still pretty squishy dude with fucked knees.

Being skinny is not the same as in shape, despite what they tell women.
Club 27 Goals
yeah I guess that makes sense, you'd have to work out the rest of your body too. push-ups, sit-ups, idk.

Fat people are usually synonymous with stupid people, or at least stupid about food/health.  I've been close to several really fat people in my life, and they really are totally fucking retarded about food and about how their bodies work.  They see how I eat and think it's totally abnormal, and they think that eating a dozen donuts and a quart of milk is totally normal.  An intelligent person would compare their body to the body of someone who eats differently and conclude that there was a problem with their own choice, not the thin person's. It's like they just don't want to accept that it's true that they are totally to blame for destroying their health because they were too stupid to read about nutrition.  There's also a shitload of denial going on even after they realize that they have destroyed themselves by choosing a horrible diet.  They continue to blame other factors, especially genetics. Bad diets can be passed down in families through teaching, but there's nothing genetic about that. They also sit there and deny eating poorly - hoping that the rest of the world is stupid enough to not figure out that you cannot gain weight by absorbing it through your skin and lungs.  I say america is too stupid to make it's own decisions about food.  If you're gonna allow all these horrible-for-you foods out there then you need to fix the education system first.  If that makes me a socialist, then oh well.  Go to a country that has a more socialist outlook and you'll find people are much more healthy. You won't find them all pissed off and feeling oppressed because they don't have the freedom to become a huge ugly lard-ass.  Only americans would make that argument.
Why the hell would anyone drink milk on its own? It goes with stuff, yeah, like coffee or tea or in a milkshake or something, but straight milk is gross.
My sweetie used to drink more than one tall glass of milk every day.  He's overweight and recently diagnosed with IBS.  He was in shock when the doctor told him to not have milk any more.
Proper training is the best medicine for everything.
What about too much training?

i've done this my entire life - milk is my favorite beverage. i always drink skim though, it's not a big deal if you're trying to lose weight.

Well, it is obviously not proper training. The reason why Bruce Lee looked ill and skinny at the end like you can see in Enter the Dragon, if you ask me, is because he hasn't developed a healthy attitude towards himself. His entire life was a restless rush.

btw. what big industies call milk today is mainly just white colored water.
red chamber dream
ok.

except that's not true in the least.

not everything is a big conspiracy just because you're paranoid

Conspiracy is what you daily see in commercials already. Don't tell me it is something hypothetical or unreal. Our system is based on exploiting the dumb, that is not news. And as long as we act out of opportunity and not responsibility it is not going to change, just an inevitable result of this fundamental setting.
red chamber dream
not really. it's just capitalism, in the us at any rate.

now, a lot of the stuff the government does is conspiracy, or something close. that's what you should really be paranoid about.
It goes hand in hand.

I'd heard toward the end of his life he had been training really hard in the heat of Hong Kong and was always developing new training methods and pushing himself to the next level. I don't think he looked ill but he certainly may have pushed the body to it's limits, if such thing exists. He looked more ripped in enter the dragon due to his training methods, and he was starting to consider putting on weight along with his new training regime, before he life was cut short.
