It's an example of how good walking animations could be. I've not seen a more realistic representation in some time. It was so realistic that I initially wondered how Youtube had managed to let a naked man in a video slip their notice.
It's probably like a lot of things, in that once you know of the culture traits, they are obvious, yet if you don't, a question like that seems valid. I didn't even need to click the play button.
