I think the wii's huge casual gamer success coupled with nintendo forcing the motion control gimmick on developers has turned developers and real gamers away from the brand.  There's still a shitload of people who love the core franchises so the only thing that will save nintendo are awesome new releases in those core franchises.

Considering they didn't even break 100k sales opening weekend, safe to say it failed.

100k is the opening weekend seems like an extraordinarily high number for most games in japan to me

but nah i'm still not interested either, at least not for $60. there's no doubt i'll own it eventually but that time is not now. got way better games to play before omega ruby comes out and my life is consumed.

Ark the last Musou game opened with like 250k sales and it wasn't that long ago. Wii U is currently the top selling console in Japan too.

...at 8k units a week but let's not get technical

idk what muoso means but if that's dynasty warriors then of course, dynasty warriors always sells huge numbers in japan for literally no reason. but this is not a dynasty warriors game (even though it is).
