Almost. They record it forwards, but it's reversed on the tape. See the Wikipedia page for more information.

I got some really cool Windows 7 themes and messed around with them.

I also shooped my wallpaper. Here's what it looked like originally:

I changed the hue in photoshop, then duplicated the picture (so that there were two layers of the same picture). I cut the top layer right down the center and to the left side so exactly half of it was gone. Then I inverted it, so that one half was black and red and the other was white and light blue. I didn't like that much of a contrast so I changed teh hue so that both sides were red, but one was white and the other was black ^__^.

im working on a new taskbar type thing to replace the dock... the background also changes to the album art of whatever is currently playing.

I'm using this wallpaper since around feburary, it's pretty much perfect. Also yeah, some folders on there I should move away. But lazy. And anime tend to pile up on it until my whole desktop is packed with them.

It depend on your resolution and how much is your monitor capable of. Is this too big for you?

1920 x 1080 is pretty common nowadays

It just looks really long.

That last one is about two and a half times the size of my monitor. The screen is 17" diagonally, and the highest resolution it goes to is 1280 by 1024, which is what I use now.

OH I also got my computer set up so that the CRT monitor on the right can be at a different resolution and Refresh rate then my LCD monitor on the left. I usually use my CRT for graphic stuff, and the LCD for gaming and web browsing.

Bump because... Christ, who am I, doing such a flagrant move like this?

Rearranged my desk to be a lot more fun. (Generics up top, gaming content lower-right, media on the low bar, communications on the left.)

Oh yeah, and the icons are spread out for visual optimization. (Meaning that it's slightly less time to load the icons coming back to the desktop as opposed to being jumbled altogether).

One shall stand, one shall ball.

As a rule I don't like to move my desktop icons around too much, since in theory I have them there for convenience and moving them around would cause me to actually have to look for them. Though since I don't really use the desktop icons and instead often go to the quick launch icons it's kinda pointless.

That said, my current one is making me rethink that policy.

Mine's always arranged fairly orderly: Programs down the left side, folders / files, emu-stuff down the right side, and games across the top. I eventually spiral my way in, until I'm forced to clean up. Razz
