Actually, if you must say that, it would be correct if you said "Good ol' clean desktop!" instead of what you said, because the apostrophe is used in place of a letter, not just at the beginning of the word. I get annoyed when I see "something n' something else", "something 'n something else" or whatever, because it's incorrect. It should be "something 'n' something else", because the apostrophe is there in place of the "a" and "d" in "and". They're sign would just as well be saying "something nd something else" or "something an something else".
