guess I really SHOULD be posting pony stuff in here instead of the social topic.
anyhow, this is the poster that they're giving away for free at the con tomorrow. I'm tempted to try and find someone through craigslist or something that are going and ask them to pick one up for me. Course if I mention that there's a very limited amount, they'll realize they could jsut put them up on ebay for $350 or whatever.
I think what I'm gonna do is just cut out the "comic con 2011" bit at the bottom of the image, and then upload it to a custom poster site or something if hasbro doesn't sell it as a real poster later on. The people that designed the poster actually posted on EqD and mentioned it was made specifically for the "older people". Look at all the fan shoutouts in it, they even put Octavia in it. My body is at maximum levels of want, and I'm sure they'll all be gone by the end of tomorrow :[

So at work today I was talking to my coworker friend guy and comic-con was brought up, so I got the courage to tell him about the posters and MLP. I asked him if he had hread of it and he was like "heh... actually, a good friend of mine makes pony videos. He dubs them using seinfeld" and it turns out his friend is the same guy that made that pony wu-tang clan video.

Whelp I didn't pay attention to this thread for a few days because I found a Twilight with bangs myself today. (I also saw Applejack and Rainbow Dash WITHOUT bangs, which is pretty wrong...)
Which means I have a bangless Twilight... I'm considering selling it. Using it for a custom is an idea... well, it would be Trixie, if anything. The custom one i've seen on Ponibooru uses Twilight with bangs as the base, but I'm not sure Trixie needs hair from the bang holes (incidentally, this is the first recorded instance of the term "bang holes" being used in a non-sexual context). Just separate it at the front. So I might. And then I'll end up buying some earth pony to customize into Photo Finish.

Kenny you'll have to let me know how your customizing goes. If you need guides someone who goes by the name "CustomAnon" on ponychan made some really detailed and really awesome guides. They've also made like 12 custom ponies so they really know what they're doing.
The only part I'm worried about is the painting, since I'm afraid of making it look like shit :<. I guess it's easy enough to clean it off and try again, but ehh.
