IE 6.0.2800.1106. It's not very pronounced; only taller letters like d or f, or a bit of the t reach into the ad, and it doesn't go any higher then the little underline underneath "Ads by Google", so it doesn't hinder anything at all.

Question: What resolution is this happening in? Might be interesting to factor in.
For completion: Firefox in 1280x1024 doesn't show what you are describing. Which page is it happening on, exactly?

thanks, but already fixed it. had to do with me stupidly using a table to add the paypal button. turns out it also disabled all the sidebar links on the site for users of microsoft internet explorer for windows! so yeah, the paypal button will look a bit awkward until i can figure out some other way to display it.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention on the forum... I recreated irc.metroid2002.com Just another reason to love me. Although I messed up the exception for cgi irc users and it was causion auto disconnects today because the limit had been reached... but it is now fixed. Sorry to the people who had couldn't connect because of that.
