I finally picked it up today, wewt wewt. But I'm at my brother's house, so I can't play until I get home later =(. Oh well, I know I'm gonna have fun, and it's a nice break off the pc games and such. :P
weird. go changing the save format and still fitting it in the same number of blocks. makes me think retro has become larger/more segmented than it was in the past. i guess it's still positive, though, since the palers didn't have to wait forever and a day to get the game this time.
Well, I can have 6 saves per memory card (for now)!
No reason for someone to actually want that, but I can have it.
And I found a few version differences, but they are all based on the packaging, so it doesn't matter. No, I won't post pics. Next week, I'll compare all rooms. Just for fun.
At a lot of the places (Game Stop, for instance), they're *required* by upper management to hassle you about those things. "Are you sure you don't want the strategy guide? It's $5 cheaper when you buy the game! How about pre-ordering? You know, the new Zelda is set for coming out in March and if you pre-order now, you don't have to worry about us selling out."
I wouldn't take it too harshly when they push THAT kind of stuff on you, but what Ummeiko was talking about is completely the employees' fault.
Normally, I like Gamestop, because I know a couple of good friends that work there, and so I know what they have to do with selling and stuff. But for some reason I had reserved the game at the new mall's gamestop instead of my usual location, so I had to pick it up there.
The guys were nice enough after I held my own in a video game conversation, but the initial reaction was not the best. The assuming that I don't know anything about games that aren't "girl oriented" (And anyway, strictly girl-marketed games are generally crap...)
And for the record, I've never played a Barbie game in my life.
*waves* Have MP2 a week now. College is killing all my gaming time until end of term on the 8th, so I"ve only just got to the start of Torvus Bog. It's soooo gooood! And I don't get any hassle in game shops, because I work there...
