A friend of mine and I have been cracking Maru Mari jokes since like 2005.  "Fingernails and lint" are just too convenient as descriptions of Kraid's attacks, even in Super.  And other people named Mother Brain's attacks after food, and then my friend calls Gravity Suit "gravy", so now I use "ice cream".

Also, "I'm not sure what's crazier, the fact that you thought to [X], or the fact that it worked" is actually a rather apt line for a lot of circumstances.

I think we're probably like two of the ten or so people who still remember that this webcomic exists.
You except for everyone who still posts here
Fair point I guess.

Now I just need to dig through my backup drives to see if I still have those two demo reels of Houston's Big Adventure.
Time bomb set get out fast!
Glenn, you are my new hero. I remembered everything about that strip, and I could've sworn I checked Wayback myself for it, but I must've missed a spot. At last the collection is complete!

Five months later, but I've got one of them, at least:

Uploaded to Youtube when I was, uh, posting Maru Mari in a webcomics thread on SomethingAwful.

I remember the other teaser, but I don't think I have it...
