If its just your standard webpage then it shouldn't be too hard, just the act of posting your comic as a normal image. The only thing to keep in mind would be the website providor, im guessing m2k2 is providing space, so that shouldn't be a problem.

lol, HTML is fun !

Mister ...
Ok, I read the Maru Mari Comics and I was very pleased with them, however, when I finished reading them, I was kinda disappointed that there would be no more Maru Mari comics.

SO then I got to wondering, Will there be another person continuing the Maru Mari comic? Or should we start a new one?

If you think that we should start new ones, please post any Metroid comics you may have.

If you think Maru Mari should be continued, then post some ideas.
i do believe there is an official marumari topic for this, but anyway....

maru mari has been cancelled since WAY before i joined this board, almost 3 years now i think....

Maru Mari hasn't been cancelled; it's basically on hold 'till HBA's done. It most definitely hasn't been on hold for three years, since I'm pretty sure there have been new comics while I've been here, and I've only been here for a year and a half.
eh, nope, i was in 7th grade when the last one was released (just started the school year) and im almost through my freshman year now.

There is an official Maru Mari Feedback thread, but first I would like to respond to this:

I can't speak for Houston, but as a webcomicker I take exception to the notion that it is the fans' to say whether or not they think a comic "should be" continued. What "should" happen with any comic is a decision for the authors and the authors alone, and it is certainly not a group decision whether or not authorship of the comic should be transferred. Unless I am under a serious misunderstanding of the situation, Maru Mari is not an establishment of Metroid 2002, it is an establishment of Houston and Toozin that happens to be hosted on Metroid 2002, and as such the community has no part in its production. Desiring that a comic would continue and saying that it should continue are two very different things.

You likely didn't mean any offense by what you said (nor would the offense be directed at me anyway if it had), so I'm not telling you off for it. I'm just pointing this out.

With that, heres the official Maru Mari Feedback Thread, and have a nice day.

That means nothing to me, but the last comic was:

2004.04.18

Only a 5 day wait this time. We're getting slightly better.
Yes, I know it's an X right now. It's cuz Houston is a dork. We'll fix it tommorow. Toozin

Which is most definitely not 3 years ago. Just before I joined the forum, but definitely while I lurked and freqented the site.
Houston actually made a few new ones (actually they've been on his HD for awhile now, but he just recently displayed them), but he can't put them up on the official Maru Mari page since he can't do the process of posting them (only Toozin truly knows how) and Toozin doesn't have the tools to do it anymore. At least that's how I remember it. Check further back in the thread for what he actually said.
Yoozin can just get new tools right, and then Houston can update Maru_Mari again, if not, well...
Or you can read nn12000's comics...

Which is funnier, BTW.

Or you can remember there's a little thing called "opinion."
I don't think he knows that every person has their sense of humor. I think I understand now what it means. Your ability to understand a joke and to make good ones. (maybe we can count THAT as our sixth sense >_>)

Deadness = unsticky. There's a link directly to this topic anyway right?
Houston, about how far are you with HBA? It seems to me that the project has been canceled, but I'd like some confirmation.
Not impossible
just highly unlikely

Time to let go.
Did he die or something?

I don't think so.
I think "die" is probably synonymous with "got a[nother] life" in this context.

Actually, he probably still is doing HBA (last I heard, at least...like several months ago). He's uh...obviously not very active in this community as much as he used to be, though.
can we help finish your zm strips? i wanna draw!

I don't think that's gonna happen. There are Metroid comics out there that are at least as funny. Maru Mari is primarily Houston's, though.
then if we've made our own comic strippy, can we post it on m2k2? and if we can, where? (art)?

You can if you want to. Whether anyone will like it is a matter of how much effort you put into it.

Although that's not the ultimate deciding factor, but it's a great one.
