The latter. Definitely the latter. Otherwise he'd know about the part you just talked about.
Don't cross me, or I will kill you!
Yes. But what he doesn't know is that the Zero Suit Sequence isn't as hard as it looks.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Ummm that's stupid they kill you and expect you to keep playing.

Loudclaw: Before you get too sucked in, you may want to check who holds the current speedrun record for Zero Mission here, and who holds the current speedrun record for Fusion here. teach
What'd you say?

Hey, I was being truthful. And I know Fusion in and out. I've played it at LEAST 30 times, TOTAL. ZM, not so much, but I know the tricks. I know ALL of them. AND I prefer having a separate set of ammunition for Super Missiles and normal ones. You can just decide on what type you need. But I think, out of Super, Fusion, and ZM, that ZM's Power Bomb ammo is the most practical. Why would you need 50 or 74 Power Bombs? You wouldn't! You don't need too many. Especially once you get the best Beam for gameplay. Besides, I never knew what you meant...But yes, the early Supers would mean you could go back the way you came, and decide on where you want to go in the first place. Oh, and you can. I know all the tricks. Not from here. By myself.

One more (read: pedantic) thing, you don't know the game inside at all, only interdpth and I do (and Nintendo) (and BioSpark, Dragonfangs and Deign to a much lesser extent)
pjman and interdpth know way too much, me, dfangs, and deign still know too much.
You know way too much about Arkarians Ass as well aiwebs_029

Well obviously, he played Fusion like 30 times! That makes him the clear authority on just how many power bombs is too many! And he learned this BY HIMSELF! He's got to establish that you're talking to a master here, friend. Thirty playthroughs, man, Thirty!
Don't cross me, or I will kill you!
*blushes* I'm not saying I'm better than anybody...But, I learned how to shinespark from Fusion, and when I got a new copy of Zero Mission (I hate how my old copy WOULD NOT HOLD A SAVE.) I just tried the tricks. They worked, and Ballspark worked too, on ZM. Definitely not Fusion. But on my first playthrough only, the SA-X killed me many, many times. We don't need Power Bombs too much in Fusion. Really, just ten or twenty would've been nice, but NO. They had to keep adding more and more Power Bomb Tanks until you have seventy-four. I mean, that's more than Super Metroid! They had 50! Metroid Zero Mission had the right idea, they just limited the Power Bombs to 18. 9, in Hard Mode. I haven't beaten Hard in ZM yet, but really. Who really needs 74 Power Bombs? I mean, I admit I was impressed when I watched BioSpark's TASing skills. I couldn't have beaten him. Then again he was using tools. That's why it's called Tool-Assisted SpeedRun. When I've gotten Super Metroid, I'm going to attempt to 100% it. The tricks from Fusion and ZM should work. I still have my copy of Fusion, though I don't think I could break many more secrets from it. I also still have ZM. I definitely could break more secrets from it, which I will when I find my old SP. I do have a DS Lite, but my brother broke the hinge. I have a 3DS, but I'm not one of the Ambassadors. I'm not going to get rid of my games, though. And let me establish two things. Yes, I am a master (I've learned many secrets about these games that are on here, but I never peeked. I just tried. I love the single-wall jump, though. It took a bit to master IBJ, then DBJ, but I did it on my own.) and I haven't beaten the games best ending. Nor have I got the Japanese copy of Fusion. But, that's mainly because I've basically been looking for secrets. Just saying.
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
The main problem is that you've registered on a forum primarily dealing with speedrunning the Metroid games (originally, at least!), which means that the majority of people here are well versed in the games, let alone some of the members here being record holders, so spouting about guru status won't do you any favours.  Unless you prove it, which is always welcome. aiwebs_004
Don't cross me, or I will kill you!
Well, I HAVE been doing my best to get 100% under 2 hours. I've gotten close, but not there.

Yet.
why would you need the japanese version of fusion?
Don't cross me, or I will kill you!
Hard Mode. People would be impressed if I beat Hard Mode on Fusion, seeing as I've beaten the equivalent of Japan's Normal Mode around 30 times.
I like Big Butts and I can not lie
Hard mode isn't more difficult if you're good at ammo management
Don't cross me, or I will kill you!
Yes, I know. But you have less Energy Tanks and you get more damage, so instead of TWO times of Energy, you get FOUR times gone.
I like Big Butts and I can not lie
Enemies only do another ~20% damage though (there's no fixed percentage, depends on the enemy)
only if you do single-segment 0% hard mode will i consider you a fusion master loudclaw.
