In Agon Wastes, at the Portal Site, the first time you come into the room and there are the Pirates there you have to fight and after you fight them the two that come get possessed.  Has anyone managed to take out one of those Pirates before the cut scene where they get possessed?  I've managed to get in a fully charged shot and a missile, which is enough to waste any other standard Trooper, but it didn't kill him.  Has anyone else managed to kill one of them?  Or do they have infinite health before the cutscene?
I'm pretty sure you can't kill them, but even if you could, the cutscene would probably respawn them.

yeah, two dark pirates spawn no matter what. I've killed one of the two pirates pre possesion but two dark pirates still spawn. and they do annoy me  with the way they spam cannon fire too >.<
Well, poo.  Evil or Very Mad  What did it take to kill the Pirate before the cutscene?  It might still spawn Dark Troopers, but it'd still be cool to waste one of them...  As I said, I've managed to hit it with a fully charged shot and a missile, which is enough to slaughter any other normal Trooper...  So how much did it take to pwn the thing?

I'll bet you annoy them with your killing them and whatnot.  :P

here's the technique I used: fully charged power beam shot with a missile fired as soon as you fire the charge beam shot. has to be really quick. but it works. on a somewhat random note, I also find one uncharged dark beam shot followed my a missle is a very fast way of owning regular space pirates (I think it's quicker to fire a missle as opposed to a second dark beam shot if I'm not mistaken, something to do with how long you have to wait after making a beam shot)
So....

Is it possible to beat Quadraxis on a low-percent game if you don't have the Dark Suit?
Time bomb set get out fast!
According to iowa, it is.  Unless by low-percent you mean absolute minimum.
I meant no Dark Suit and no Energy Tanks.

Then I think "no" is a safe bet.  No matter how good you are, that's too long a fight to survive without Safe Zones.  You'd might be lucky with pickups in the first two phases, but I don't remember any in the third.

in all honesty, don't think it an be done at this point and time. while there are plenty of ultra energies to be picked up, you would have to be picking one up every 15 seconds in order to survive at the longest. (99 energy/6 energy per second drain= 16.5 seconds of total survial minus the one second for the energy pickup to register) it would take a lot of speedy tactics to make sure quadraxis didn't do something that would make itself invunerable (like spinning and sucking samus in for the first form) and a lot of random luck as to what way the ehad would float during the third phase. . . . and then there's the trek to get to the energy controller, followed by some rather difficult trekking to the light world. not saying it's impossible, but seems far off though.
ummm...I've collected all three ing hive temple keys but the friggin temple door says I've only got two and need to get a third!?

I've got the one behind the glass with all the spider rails to get to it (in the room with the big club fisted droids)

I've got the one over the abyss where you shoot the floating ing cache bug and it's inside it...

and...i've got the one on top of the spider rail ball thing with all the whips just outside the entrance to the temple...this is stupid! What have I missed...

I read about a glitch with one of the echoe rooms where if you only destroy two and then leave that room and then go back and destroy the third it won't work and you entire game is stuffed....

I wonder if I have done the same thing with the keys cause I scanned the temple door before getting the last key just outside it....then I went back and got that key and went back again and scanned the temple door and it still said I needed another? I wonder if this is a similar type of glitch?? Can anyone HELP?

That's not an Ing Hive Temple Key, that's a SKY TEMPLE KEY.  The last Ing Hive Temple key is in the Aerial Training Site (dark version of Watch Station) behind the "force field".

Go through the dark portal of Main Research (where you fight the Caretaker Drone) to Staging Area and go through the blue door in that room, up the screw attack wall to behind the force field to get the key.
yeah oops....I realised when I went back to it and went and got the screw attack etc and final key....

thanks though...I'm just an idiot....

Quadraxis is awesome!...sweet boss!

i just got the screw attack thing and now i'm stuck. what do i do to get out of the vault?
All you have to do is screw attack to the door.
(user is banned)
i tried that, it didn't work
As in Screw Attack didn't work or you didn't make it?

If it's the former, you must be moving forward or backwards already during the first and second jumps in order for Screw Attack to intiate.

If it's the latter, then just wait longer between hitting the B button to lengthen your jumps.

from the platforms or what?
you can screw attack BACKWARDS?!
(user is banned)
for deathnoble dude's question ''didn't work or didn't make it''
both happened. i hit the spot where the bridge was before i moved it.
(user is banned)
do you screw attack from the platforms closest to the door or from the bridge or what?
Bananas GOOD, Kremlings BAD
If you space out the first jump, the second jump, then all of the jumps of the screw attack, you make it by FAR.

The screw attack doesn't start if you just press the jump button without moving the control stick.
Not only that, but you also must be moving forward when you initiate the SA. You can stand still or move backwards for the jump/space jump, but you must be moving forward when you start the SA or it won't start.

i already know that, i need to know do you screw attack off the platforms or the bridge?
Bananas GOOD, Kremlings BAD
Right where you get the screw attack, just jump off that platform toward the blue door and screw attack.
