http://kejardon.tripod.com/Metroid/10Years.zip is the bomb jump movie containing every kind of bomb jump I could think of.

http://kejardon.tripod.com/Metroid/CFFun.zip is some crystal flash/powerbomb/layer 3 glitchery, if I remember right.

http://kejardon.tripod.com/Metroid/Jumpglitch.zip , I think this is the glitch where you will be momentarily stopped by a roof, but your speed isn't set to 0 so if you move out from under the roof you keep moving upwards.

http://kejardon.tripod.com/Metroid/MidAirMorphDelay.zip , this is a not-well-known bomb jump trick that I think is pretty neat... but there aren't many places to use it. Used once at the end of the 10-year movie.

I'm trying to do a reverse boss order run, but Ridley (or the heat) keeps killing me.  I have all currently reachable items that do not require out-of-room travel except PB 66.  Any advice?

I have a question involving Crystal Flash. Can you be hit whilst doing it, and if so, will it be interrupted?

You can get hit by anything when you're crystal flashing. It just does normal damage.
There's a catch though. Samus doesn't get any invincibility time, so if it's an enemy physically touching you, your hp goes down unbelievably fast.

I just got this game and already I'm stuck *sighs* how sad..., anyways, I just beat the giant plant with the piano music and I go and fall way far and then get a missle expansion and charge beam, if I remmber correctly. Then I go way down and shot this blue switch where the door opens and 3 enemies are wating for me. In the next room I jump up on the upper platform and the rocks crumble before me, Im thinking I need the speed boots, correct? So, my question is, where do I go from here? Ive tried everywhere.

well get on the ledge with the crumbly blocks and run across. SM has a run button so use that. or you can do this if you feel like it

I cant play mp4, as im on a public computer. And is this the way the game was meant or is this sequence breaking?

Crossing the bridge is the way the game was meant to be played, yes.  In fact, I think it's the only thing you can do at that point; every other way out of the Brinstar/Crateria area requires power bombs. The dash across the bridge is even in one of the clips that's shown when you turn the game on, I think.

The movie is of doing many very small and quick jumps on the bridge to get across instead of using the run button.

Try each button on your controller until you find one that works.  I don't remember what it defaults to...I think it's the lowest one, whatever letter that is.  B?

ok, I've got a SM question. aside from kraid, how much missles does every boss/miniboss take to kill? I'm gonna scoot around the internet as well as ask here as I'm planning to do a SM run out of boredom, and for what I'm doing it would be nice to plan for the missle packs and all that fun stuff. thanks in advance and all that stuff for those who know the answers

I believe Kejardon's 14%/15% walkthrough at GameFAQs lists the HP for each boss and how much damage each available weapon does.  I don't think it mentions beams other than charge/ice because you wouldn't have any of the rest in a low%, but the missile and super numbers should be there.

Back again for yet more help, I got the high jump boots and then Spazer beam and now Im just running around now. Where to next? I think I need to go in that room where the pillers come down, but I never can make it.

You're supposed to get the Speed Booster for that room, for which you're supposed to need the Varia Suit since you have to go through several heated rooms to get it, and for that you need to fight Kraid.  His area is located to the right of the elevator room.

You can also try the mockball technique shown on the SM part of the site to get past the room with the dropping pillars, but there isn't much point.
