Thanks, I beat him now. He spawned several light particle thingies in a row which completely refilled my ammo.

I need help getting 100%. My inventory says 99%, but the logbook bar says my inventory is full. I thought the final energy controller at the end might do it but the game completion still said 99%. I just now looked to make sure and I have 14 etanks, 250 missiles, 250 beam ammo, all 9 keys, all 4 beam combos, and 10 pbs. I've done no sbing so I have all the regular suit upgrades as well. WTF! lol

the echo visor shows you the sound waves of hidden expansions so you don't need to listen like a madman to every little sound.

I did everything for Screw Attack, then when I went into that bomb slot, and I couldn't get out after the cutscene.

So I was playing went to get the keys for sky temple, and my sky in Dark Oasis isn't there, if I go to the light world version, I can see the outline of the ing holder, but when I go back to dark oasis, no ing to kill.

Any help? -_-

yeah. that sucks. it's a weird check. they did the same with the phazon elite in mp1 since you can't battle him if you don't get the main pb.

There's a Guardian in lower Torvus. The room where you get the Gravity Boost, but on Dark Aether.

So in order to go under dark Aether water and get all the keys, you need to kill PB guardian? Is there any other weird checks?

The only other one I recall is that the missile expansion atop the ship at GFMC Compound requires you have Space Jump before it will appear. I suppose that was done to hide the expansion's existence until you have the gear needed to retrieve it in case you listened for the item sound, but it also prevents acquiring the missile via terminal fall abuse for an NSJ game.
