Why not? I'm talking about with AR.

you can't *lose* items. once it's encoded in a save its there...

If you saved with, say, moonjump enabled, would you never be able to disable it on that file?

that's a completely different circumstance and type of coding.

Well if that's the case, you should still be able to make it to boost with only moonjump and infinite health unless there is something I am forgetting.

the fact that it's impossible to make it to boost without morph ball

Why can't you just wallcrawl past all the obstacles?
because it's impossible to get in the elevator room in magmoor

How / why is it impossible?
can't door warp it/the top of the elevator isn't solid but you get stuck in a skywalk

What about the other elevator room?
always move fast
other elevator should work fine

saying that though, i'm not sure if you can enter the sw in the elevator room (via moonjump) or the room above it (via ice door) without entering the skywalk.

I'm confused... why would you need to? I think I'm misunderstanding something here, heh.
always move fast
well, if you enter via the other elevator (assuming you don't have morph ball), you'd have to cross quarantine cave and the morph ball tunnels adjacent to it to head to boost ball (not to mention a bunch of wave doors).

Oh, you're talking about the elevator room in phendrana.
sparky the same problem persists, skywalk kills it

Well, I'm out of ideas, then... :(
i recall a while back (2004) something that would let you to go any room you wanted on action replay. i wonder if it still works
my umbrella goes directly to Bankai
i remember using AR to get several items in mp2 to test things (stuff like Annihilator on Quadraxis since that's impossible normally) and the items i didn't get and had with AR codes disappeared when i reloaded the save without the AR.

Hey, is there anyway to scan X-Ray enemys? (X-Ray Bombu, X-Ray Power Bmb Drne.etc)
Cause I want to make a 100% scan and item run. If you can't then I geuss they aren't in the list of enemies.

You can't scan them. I've done 100% scan runs multiple times; you don't have to scan them.
Ok just wondering to make sure.

did you save with the items on though
not evil,just hungry
If there is an AR code to add an item, then there should be a code to remove the item.  a quick glance shows the "have item x" codes all point to the same region.  probably a bit flag array, so add some 0's and you'll lose items.
OK, I need some help with getting into Life Grove 21%.  I can't get the dash off the bloodflower to give me enough height to land on the spider ball track, and I can't get the TBJ in Great Tree Chamber high enough to reach the SW.  Is there something I'm missing about these two tricks?

keyword: should
and the days of 'values' in coding for game is pretty much gone man... thats like, n64 era

You're actually supposed to land on the side of the spider ball track. There's a hidden ledge where the horizontal track meets the vertical one.

This should help:

Also, this may help with gtc sw:

Oh, it was the side of the spider ball track.  That was what I was missing.  Anyways, I now have X-ray and Chozo, but am wondering how I'm supposed to get out of Life Grove.  The page on the side doesn't have any explanation.  I'm not going to have to do some horrible laddered HBJ off that rock spire, am I?
