If you mean normal mode low-% boss this my method is best.

Kill all legs in one round light beam only. When boss battle started shot light charge and couple regular shot against first legs. (you need light charge and 3-5 light beam regualar shots against per legs)

When first legs died, kill second legs same method and dodge boss attack. Third legs is pretty annoying, your must be fast. Fourth legs is probably bit easier.

Boss drops energys around the room, everytime when legs died. Collect your energys fully and continued.

Second form strategy is easy. Jump screw attack against boss body antenna. When boss stunned, shot one SM, one charge and couple dark beam regular shots his head antenna. Alternate you can use two SM shots or light beam charge or light beam regular shots against his head antenna. When boss antenna died collect missile and energy refills around the room.

When you jump screw attack his body antenna your must be remember one thing: There is 50% change choose right legs or wrong legs. If you choose wrong legs you not can jump onto the legs.

Third phase is simple, use same idea as any-%.

Hard mode low-% fight is most complicate, because first form is insanely difficult, and you need use both, SM and light shots against his legs and in one round legs kill is impossible here.  But i think you play normal mode.

My english grammar suck hopefully you understand my points.
thanks a lot and i understand what you mean and yes im doing a normal mode. I will try it as soon as possible.

edit: I did it! It was a lot much easier than I tought. its was harder to kill boost guardian and now its time to kill the empror!

Congrats man. Quadarxis is pretty easy if you are fast, when you kill him. Hard mode battle is at least 50-65% harder, because it legs form is very long.

Emperor ing is pretty easy too, if you use screw attack under him when boss use jump attack. This method is much faster and easier than anni beam method. I think you don,t have much trouble here.
I will try an hard mode after my run. I think I will need your help but not now.

edit: an other question: Is the route of kip's run is the fastest one ?
my umbrella goes directly to Bankai
no. that route is severely outdated.
hello, i need some help with the roll jump in "watch station access" to get screw attack early. I also don´t get the scan dash. the dash jump made me no problems in metroid prime but in mp2, it drives me mad Evil or Very Mad  Exclamation so i decided to try the roll jump. but i can´t jump far enough to reappear on the side with the energy tank.

Any tips?

is my grammar correct Question  grin new
If the jump works but you are not going far enough, then it has to be something with L and R. You should start pressing R before getting the instant unmorph and then never release it. As for L, hit it right after getting the instant unmorph and then keep holding it until the end of the jump. If done right you will be going a lot further than needed to appear on the other side of the room.
Bananas GOOD, Kremlings BAD
If you don't get the cross-hairs when you hold the L button, then you pressed the L button too soon and you won't go fast/far enough.  You'll have to experiment with the timing of the L button.
okay i got it! thank you! grin new
I'm trying to get the secret world assisted early power bomb expansion in Echoes off of temple assembly area using DJGranola's method but I cannot for the life of me seem to get the "ether" jumps to work. PArt of this problem, I find, is that I truly have no idea what the technique actually IS other than walking around and randomly hitting B. :p

What exactly is the trick to this...er... trick?
Nevermind! I figured out how to get up on the door. Of course actually getting to the power bomb expansion was another thing entirely but I figured that one out with judicious help from DJGrenola's commentary. Hooray for sequence breaking!
where are the three keys that unlock the door to the dark temple versoin of the light temple but on dark aether........ in short, the place in wich you first use the energy transmiter devise! grin new

(I already have the one from the area were you face the bomb guardian on light aether)
After some complications, I finally got into the secret world in Dynamo Chamber, but I'm directly below where ground level is. Can I still get the power bomb expansion from here? I keep trying to get through the wall to get at it but to no avail.
Yeah. It's the Running Flower.
I need help in the Sanctuary temple.  I'm trying to exit the map by Screw Attacking the robot leg in the far right-hand corner, and I know that it should work, but the game always makes me become a morph ball.  Is this just a glitch or am I doing something wrong?  I've positioned myself correctly but it just doesn't work.

Have you checked the wiki entry? IIRC, if you are getting the forced morph, you are in the ballpark. Just a matter of time before you get into the leg.

I concur.

Actually I found the most important variable is the height at which you begin the screw attack. IIRC you need to be as close to the ground as possible without touching it.
Yeah. It's the Running Flower.
Thanks.  I hadn't gone to the wiki.

I'm having a lot of trouble with doing a 2bsj. I get the instant unmorph but can never jump afterward. What am I doing wrong?

and i can't do a triple bomb jump (3bj) to save my life. How are those done. I lay a bomb then quickly lay three more bombs in succession like it looks in the video. But i only do a 2bj not a 3bj. What am I doing wrong their? Someone please tell me how to do it. Thanks  :-)

Triple and double pretty same thing IMO both give same more heights, i don,t really know where you really need triple bsj itself. But double bsj is bit easier when you lay three bomb IMO. Lay three bomb: Down, middle and high. When second bomb explode simply instant unmorph after this. If you want do double bsj lay second bomb middle of the room (not very high). But it is easier lay three bomb because it not requires as good timing IMO.

Already one guy ask that same questions. There is one topic. Read this:
http://forum.metroid2002.com/index.php/topic,6352.0.html

Main page can help you too. But it require practice little bit. Unmorph timing is bit different between single and double bsj. Double between triple timing is pretty same. Triple timing= Push back and unmorph after second bomb explode. Camera spot is same as well.
I haven't played this game nearly as much as MP, but I was wondering, after I started to sequence break MP 1, I went to MP2 and just started to play it normally, to get a good idea of where all the expansions are and just to get to know the game better in general(I've only beaten it once).  I was looking on the main page, and it still lists the L-jump in MP2.  I tried this in MP2 and it seems to go slower than when you jump normally while moving.  Do you hit L after you you hit the b button to jump, or before(as in MP)?  Also, how much more height do you get from a 3bj than a 2bj?  The videos are much less informative(and less there) for MP2 than 1.(which I know has to do with MP 1 being soooo much more fun for most people)

You hold L at the start of the jump and don't let go, as in during the entire jump+ space jump. And the three bomb jump only gets you a little more heigh i believe. If i remember correctly there were only a few places that a 3 bomb jump is actually needed over a two bomb jump. One of them being on the route to get space jump faster.

Thanks Master-88, when do you pull back and unmorph in a 2bj again? And How do you do a regular non-bsj, 3BJ?
Every Bit Counts

No. I've done it with a 2bj, and a dbj. It's not that hard.

Actually you not need 3bsj never with WR speedrun route.

Couple peoples said you need triple bsj in Transit station. Actually 2bsj working as well for me, but i still like lay three bomb most of the time.

MJ.
I must be said it is near impossible explain that perfect unmoprh timing any better. This make my work harder when i play game last time over month ago. But read that old topic link again, i explain that as well as i can. Only what i can say you need practice that alot first time. Single bsj timing is bit slower than double and triple. Can you make single bsj? If you can it is much easier make double or triple bsj next.
