I know how to shinespark, i just want to know how the fuck i do a diagonal shine spark, its frustrating not knowing it-.-

MOD EDIT:  Do not censor yourself, the board will censor you for you.
直死の魔眼使い
For a diagonal spineshark, you need to either very precisely press the direction of the spark, or hold the upwards diagonal aim button, and press either left or right to shoot upwards in that direction.
ok, thanks a bundle, i think thats acctualy the only thing i havent tried
Ive been trying to do this freakin glitch over and over again and I just get so frustraded every time im just starting to bash misseles at everything i see, can someone please tell me exactly how im sopposed to do this glitch?

ok, thanks
Speaking of shinespark, how do u charge it so fast? and how do u do the shinespark in the morphball form?
Mister ...
To get a faster shinespark then normal, start to walk at normal speed, then press the dash/run button.

Play MZM.
ok ty

i have another question too, i was asking on the redesign tread but i think is more apropiate to ask here:

Im playing metroid redesign, i got the speed booster, and i use the booster to remove 2 single squares of "speed squares" from a pipe in norfair, it conducted me to a morph maze, i was like 1 hour trying to climb a part of it, it took me a lot to do it, but then the next step is just falling down and beggining again, there is a way up, but the terrain i should be on is one of those blocks that dissapear if u stand on them and after that they pop up again. is it possible to me to make it, or i need the spring ball?
Need spring ball.  And your original idea to put this in the Redesign thread was right
Yeah, I started a new run. I'm in that room with those Maridia Metroids. You're supposed to run through the walls with Speed booster, but I can't because of the water gravity.

I have collected:
1 Missile Tank
1 Super Missile Tank
1 Power Bomb Tank
Ice Beam
Charge Beam
Wave Beam
Spazer
Varia Suit
Morph Ball
Bombs
Hi-Jump

What do I do?
I like Big Butts and I can not lie
I kinda hate the no mini modding rule

Anyway

Considering that you don't have any speed boots, it's
fairly obvious you can't take the normal path to Botwoon. Lure a
mochtroid to the bottom right corner, by the speed blocks you have
to get past. Make sure it's touching the ground, morphing into a
ball if you need to, and freeze it there. Walk up to it, then jump,
hold down, and right as your head hits the ceiling, press right. If
you do it correctly, your head will go through the roof. Jump again
and you'll break the blocks for good, and you can easily go through
the fake wall to the right.
I've had the same question a while ago. It's actually quite easy if you know how to do it.

Kejardon's anwser:

"Morph into a ball and lure a mochtroid over to the four crumble blocks. Let the mochtroid at least touch you, then demorph and freeze it. Then jump up and press down. You should end up crouching on the mochtroid, if not keep jumping and aiming down. When you're on the mochtroid, press up to stand, then jump. "

(^ That is w/o Gravity Suit)
Thanks to both, the answer, and the move. :)
I'll continue my 13% now.

13% Don´t you mean 14%?
Nope.
I'm having a strategy of my own.

First off I get the Morph ball and the Missiles. Percent count: 2
Then I go and get myself the Bombs and that way the Super Missiles. Percent count: 4
Then Charge Beam. Percent count: 5
Then I go and kill off Kraid, getting Varia Suit, and with that, Wave Beam and the Hi-jump boots. Percent count: 8
Then I'm off to get the Ice and Spazer Beams. Percent count: 10
The next three items are Power Bombs, allowing me to break the tube to get to Maridia, where I'm getting the Space Jump, and then going and getting the Plasma Beam.

Now I've got 13%, and all the ingredients for Space/Time beam. I return to Crateria and shoot my ship, which turns it black. After a serie of glitchomania, I escape Zebes with my black ship.

Some notes:
Apparently it's possible to survive Maridia without the Speed Booster or the Gravity suit. It, however requires you extreme skill and luck. I'll continue this post soon, I've gotta go now =X
Actually, Kejardon figured out that low% with space/time was in fact 9:

morph ball
bombs
super missiles
spazer
ice
high jump OR speed booster OR space jump
power bombs
plasma
gravity suit
a bunch of missiles that are removed using space/time

Of course, this would be insane, because it would require HBJing all the way across the spikes before the statue that takes you to the Gravity suit.  Not to mention that the version of space/time that takes yoou straight to the ending doesn't work on console.

Also, there's a slight problem with your route.  Maridia w/o gravity requires the ingreedients for a CF if you want to beat Draygon, or getting Plasma through out-of-room travel requires X-ray.  Also, Wave isn't a part of space/time.
As I silently thought about my run, I deemed it obsolete.
I can't get out from the room after Draygon because It's impossible to Space Jump underwater.

Apparently Instead of Varia, I shuold've gotten the Gravity Suit.
And Silly me, why did I even take Wave Beam in the first place?
Kheh, I'ma start over now.

And about Kej's theory.. How can you survive the heat in order to get the Ice Beam, since you have No Energy Tanks...?

Egh? I thought the Varia Suit gave you the heat-prevent, and Gravity Suit gave you the underwater handling.
Combined they were perfect but one alone was almost useless.

Correct me if I'm mistaken.

And how exactly can one get the Gravity Suit without the Varia Suit and no Energy Tanks...? The spike room will kill you even if you do a LBJ as far as possible and start HBJing.
No, the Gravity Suit protects you from everything the Varia Suit does, with the single exception of Mother Brain's eye beam.  (That's why you need to get both in a low% game.)
Once you have Gravity, Varia's only purpose is halving the dmage of MB's last attack.  That's why it's required for low%

As for the spike room, notice how I said that one would have to HBJ across the entire room?

EDIT: simupost
Yes, I did.. But..
HBJ just doesn't work like that.
You can execute a single HBJ, boosting you a bit, but It doesn't just work like as in MZM, where you can do it continuously.

But as I said, maybe you could LBJ and then afterwards begin HBJing, and run the rest. Agh, I'll try it later today.
