Strategy feeling fast and cool because im not need annhilator beam and missiles.

Sorry im not speak good english.
Okay, Im having more trouble. I cant do a roller jump! I have gotten help from scu, but it still doesnt work. What am i doing wrong? Okay, so far, this is what i know:

1.hold foward and R
2.roll off a ledge, and halfway through the fall, unmorph
3.after instant unmorph, press B and then L
4.then use the extra space jump

so, what am i doing wrong? im doing the exact same thing that people told me, and what i read. But, when i do the instant unmorph, samus doesnt do anything. i need help

Ah roll jumps, they can be tricky at times. To start off, when you unmorph, can you see the arm cannon. If you can't you unmorphed too late. If you can, then that's good. As with bsj's, you need to press B immediately after unmorphing, and wait a little after the unmorph to start holding L. Also, hold R throughout the whole thing. I hold the controller a bit differently to do roll jumps. I keep my left hand like normal, but on my right hand, I have my middle finger on R, my pointer finger on X, and my thumb on B. You may have already heard this, but there's really nothing else to it.
my umbrella goes directly to Bankai
yep, same thing i would say. X and B are almost simultaneous pushes and i grab the controller that same way. still, i can't do the Roll Jump always. i have to try quite a lot to make it.
thanks you too. ill try that method of holding the controller tonight. the other one i heard is using your leg to hold down UP, then using your index finger for R, then thumb and other index fingers for x and b. but i think the one you told me will be easier.

How do you do the final battle with Dark Samus?
It really POs me off.

Ready and willing.
Use the charge beam to tractor in the phazon snowflakes and when you have enough, let em rip.
dark beam would work too, but you can do whatever you want

Erm... every beam is the charge beam, so to speak. The upgrade's still called the charge beam in the Primes, even though it's no longer a seperate beam, right?
afaik. though because of that, people will tend to say the charged dark beam, etc instead of just charge beam, as that sounds like power beam to the uneducated.

Yeah, but here can't you charge in snowflakes with everything?
i don't know; i only did it twice (the second time was for 100% so i could have no reason to play the game again).
Yes, any charged weapon can be used to catch the "snowflakes."  The dark beam is preferred as normal charged dark beam shots cling to your opponent and do massive damage and/or freeze them, and from what I've read, the phazon-enhanced charged dark beam shots behave the same way against DS4.
help (again)

im trying to find a vid for the sentinals path SW. im trying to use this to skip the grapple beam. but i dont even know if this SW can be used to skip it. does anyone have a vid of this SW?
I don't remember who recorded it or if a link still exists otherwise, but I do have a video of that which I'll attach here.  The mods can edit this with a link if there is one and attaching it here is a waste of bandwidth. :P

Anyway, I've studied that route before and I think it should be moderately difficult to do.  The problems I noted are as follows:

- Reaching the skywalk in WS.  You have to pay careful attention to where you are, but it can be reached by a DBJ from an invisible wall to the right of the door (your right going to Watch Station).
- Loading Grand Abyss.  This is hard because of a roof atop of the door, but I think you can reach it and escape with two well-planned space jumps.  I never confirmed this though.
- Crawling around GA.  More of a problem with tedium I think.  Eh.  If you make it this far, you'll live.

When you reach Vault, you can warp through the slanted roof by the door easily enough with it erroneously loaded or secretized.  No movie though; this was something I checked out, but never did normally.

the download linked me to a page that has all these emocotions and words on it.

but i think i understand. the first part looks pretty hard, but warping into Vault might not be too hard for me. i wondered why no one hasent done this in their run yet..but anyway, ill do a search for another vid or download. anyway, heres my little dumb list of things that i made that match with your "-". just to make sure i know what im doing..

1) the first part will probably be a little hard. im not good when it comes to finding out how to gain the sky walk, but you mentoning the invisible wall, will save me time, but trying not to get stuck in the wall will be hard

2) i had the same problem while trying to warp while there is a roof on top of the door, so that might not be too hard for me, since i had a little experience getting below the door from a roof.

3) this will make the most of the hardest of the SW. i really dont like these rooms where if you get too close to the room, you will either get terminal a fall, or fall to the bottom of the room. i know if you strafe out-wards the room, you wont lose any height. so that will help

so, overall, this could be a little hard. but, i should just try anyway, maybe if i get through the whole thing, i can confirm that you can skip the grapple beam using a SW. so, thanks for the description.
download works for me ... try using a different browser.
i only have IE. and when i tried again, it came up with the same thing. but thats ok, i can try to find a different vid of the same thing.
Anywhere, everywhere
The vids do work. Instead of just clicking the link, you need to right click and then click Save As.
oh yea! i forgot about saving the vid, then accsesing it to your folder. thanks man. so, that DOES look hard, that could drain my energy if i screw up too many times, but ill try it. i want to see if this does work

I don't think this is worth a new topic so I'm posting it here:
I'm going to make a new game on hard.
My Idea was to take 101% missile to skip torvus completely, then go to Agon Wastes and get Space Jump and Bombs and Light/Dark Beam. Then get through this secret world:http://www.metroid2002.com/prime2/index.php/Temple_Assembly_Site_SW the powerbomb and then go to GFMC Compound again to get to Sanctuary. I think this should work.
using the 101% missile trick would help you skip the emerald trans. door, skip of upper torvus, getting all agon items, getting pb for easy boost guardian kill (if thats your plan) then proceeding to sanctuary.

good luck with that. but i cant imagine anyone skipping all of torvus, you need the dark visor, which is used to get the sky temple keys, then the pb would be used to kill boosty fast, then using the 101% trick can make you skip the emerald door. then..eveything else, but anyway, good luck
Torvus = boostball. Without boost (or dark visor), going to Sanc early via the GFMC 101 glitch involves at least one long float getting into SW 66. No boost also means no spider or SA. No spider means no light suit (unless you skip anni beam and echo, and use the key skip).

You could enter thru Agon to avoid the float/s I think, but still won't be able to do much without a lot of effort.

So the only thing which is really important is boostball?
