Man, that gives me the urge to replay HL2... Too bad I played it on my dad's Steam account when I was younger, and will have to buy my own "copy" to play it now :(

Sorry if none of us can gift it to you (that's how I got my copy of HL2, and Portal... yep, I got it free during the promotional offer).

One thing that turned me off in Half-Life 2 when I actually got to play it for once two months ago... they made Ravenholm and Nova Prospekt too bright (most likely my aunt's laptop backlight) and it killed half the suspense for me. Time, Miss Aran Doctor Freeman? Is it really that time again?

Just finished Metroid: Other M... 7 hours with all items on my second run (I really need to find an optimized route and stop being crappy at items I can get early)... hell, it even got scarier than Alien. (Anyone thought some of the boss music actually sounded like it was taken from Aliens?)

I honestly thought that the Bottle Ship scuttle procedure would have been more scarier if they had bursting steam pipes at random locations, a la Ceres Station and Zebes.


Now replaying Ys I & II on my Wii Virtual Console... cannot wait for Oath in Felghana and Chronicles coming soon.

I dunno.  Missiles are pretty worthless in Corruption, too.  In Other M, E-Tanks and Accel Charges are pretty nice to have.  Missiles seem to be stronger in Other M, but because Concentration takes the point out of getting missiles, there really isn't a point in getting any past 20 total on a regular playthrough.  They probably should've limited you to how many missiles you could get out of Concentration.

Assassin's Creed 2.  Enjoying it so far, and it's looking like something that I may well do all of the side stuff on - chests, viewpoints, and so on.  I love how casually you can just rob everybody. aiwebs_011

They fixed something that wasn't broken with concentration, didn't they?

Also, I miss seperate missile/super missile ammo. They could have brought that back.

So I finished playing Echoze a couple days ago (15:57 84%). Zero Suit Samus's depiction in that game is the most hilarious thing ever, and makes me willing to forgive almost everything that was wrong with the endgame.

Been playing around with Gmod with a friend lately. A big city landscape, with buildings that you can reach the top of without noclip, and fall damage set so that falling roughly twice your height can kill you is a lot more fun than you'd think. Especially when you can use doors to fly up to the invisible ceiling, set dynamite near other people's feet and kill them with the explosions. Or spotting someone doing the same, and getting them back with dynamite.

Playing Vindictus more lately. For some reason a lot of people from my school have gotten really into it. Andrew's little brother, two of his friends, two of my friends, and some random other people. One of my friends who's never played an MMO in his life (other than Runescape for a week) has even gotten into it.

Time to play it all night tonight so I can be a higher level than everyone else and feel superior and gain lots of respect.

just started donkey kong 64. got 8 golden bananas after roughly 120 minutes of play.

rare really can piss off. this game is basically B&K3 with donkey kong models/skins. they obviously didn't give a damn about the franchise.

I think I'm going to try to play through Super Mario Sunshine.  I've attempted to beat that game several times, but always got disinterested after a while, despite how awesome the game looks and feels.  It really seems way ahead of it's time and I'm kinda ashamed to say that I never beat it.  Hope I don't blow it again.

I still play it from time to time. I just like SM64 and the Galaxies better. Doesn't mean Sunshine is terrible though.

I can't get into galaxies for whatever reason, guess I've just gotten over the concept. Sunshine, though, still has a great appeal to me.
