It would be in their best interests really. I'm no expert gaming programmer or anything, but I'd imagine the amount of time it takes to be able to have a game (especially a simple one like this) be compatible on osx along with Windows would be in their best interest, profit-wise. A bigger potential audience means more potential money.

Reminds me of when I walked into my grandma's bedroom. You could def smell weed in the air, and she's just staring blankly at the tv with some stupid show on. I just close the door and walk back out.

Oh grandma...

LOL right on for smokin' granny.  Hell, I wish my grandma smoked weed instead of her crazy alcoholism and the legacy of dysfunction it has wrought.

BTW, the smoke in my room isn't from weed.

The Mac thing is definitely nowhere near as rife in the UK.  Most people probably don't even know what it is.  Nobody I know owns one, and if you go to any form of store, you wouldn't even have it mentioned to you.
I don't think that's entirely accurate. Because of how much iPods have dominated the electronics market, the UK is very aware of Apple's computer range, and a lot of education establishments have some Macs for the more arty pursuits.

Yeah, I completely agree, but I'm talking about mainstream users.  Average Joes, walking in off the street.  I doubt they'd even know of it.

Really? I'm kinda surprised.

I swear if you walk into a coffee shop anywhere around here, all the laptops you see will be macs. Although I do remember one time coming into a coffee shop really late at night, and only one guy was in there on his laptop, and he was playing Dead Space on his alienware.
I hate macintosh.  I hate their products.  I hate ipods, and their laptops, all of it.

I hate the prices...
LOL  someone has a fantasy, for sure.

so, before this turns into a LOMACSUX thread,

Playing Recettear, as you guys would probably have guessed. I don't need to say how awesome it is since I've said it before.
recettear sounds like rune factory for complete paedophiles

I've been meaning to play rune factory for awhile, but keep forgetting about it. Maybe after this I'll try it.

Is that a british spelling?  Like COLOUR and THEATRE ?
red chamber dream
yep.

Yah, the other word used only slightly less often is Paediatrician, with the same extra letter from youz guyz.  I say less often, because the brits love talking about paedos, and how we give them help, and house them secretly in streets with normal people and their families.  Funny story: There was a story in the news about a Paediatrician who was harassed at her home, because people were too stupid to know the difference.

The only other fairly common one I can think of at the moment is 'encyclopaedia'.

I hear it's pretty good if you're into this genre.

You even spell theatre differently? FREAKS!!

I think that one comes under the same thing as meter.

Essentially, the Americans have chosen to adapt the original languages that we've pilfered words from, whereas we've been rigid in our keeping their original forms.  A prime example is 'manoeuvre'.  Why we'd choose to keep the most difficult spelling possible is beyond me.
The 'u' in words like 'colour' and 'humour' was actually added in Britain after we'd already taken English accross the Atlantic. So they're using the older version.
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
Yeah, see, we're making things awkward again?  The Americans take what's easiest, and we take a word that starts easy, and make it awkward.  Oh, and 'awkward' is awkward.
I dont understand how some languages have so many words that are full of silent letters.  If everyone agrees that the letters are useless, then why does everyone keep using them???
red chamber dream
i don't think everyone agrees that.

silent = useless.

And no, I'm sure not EVERYONE agrees, don't be so literal.  There will always be a small segment of the population that is completely and utterly insane anyways.
Like if I said that everyone agrees that murder is a bad thing, its silly to stand up and say 'Well, not EVERYONE.  Some people love murder!'
The're only silent when you say them, you write them down for a reason.
