Well, since I beat and enjoyed Policenauts, I figured I should beat Snatcher, too. And I just did! I can't really say which one of the two games is better, since the setting and plot are pretty different from one another. I'll just say that they're pretty even quality-wise, and that I'd recommend beating both games at least once.
Going to be trying for a second time in a few minutes to install StarCraft and Brood War again so I can get through as much of the story as possible before the 27th and SC2. (I've only finished the entire six campaign story arc ONCE years ago.) I actually had installed it a few days ago, but it looks like with Windows 7 there is a huge graphical bug in all of the menus where the colors go crazy, which made me uninstall them after I played one custom match. But my desire to play the game is more than enough for me to struggle through that small issue since 99% of the time in a real game the colors were normal for me.
It doesn't seem like it'd be that difficult, either. The only thing is that the teeth don't show up on the map.
Can I get into the building with the Joker's face without it going to the last boss again? There's quite a bit of Riddler's bits in there for me to get.
That door never leads to anything but the Joker. There are never riddles there, and you are never completely cut off from any riddles. If I remember right it is attached to the penitentiary, you can get in there the same way you did originally.
Sweet. I'll have a go at that after getting over the awesome that is MGS: Peace Walker. It is the game that Portable Ops should have been and oculd well be better than MGS4. I got SMG2, but I'm far more into PW.
Moving into the start of the Brood War missions now. I ran through the first three campaigns a lot faster than I expected, although being older and more experienced with how StarCraft works definitely helped contribute to that.
So, I tried playing Xenogears for a couple of hours. I got to the part where you get Rico and Elly to join your party. But right now, I really don't know if the rest of the game will appeal to me. I've read through the beginning parts of this Perfect Works book someone suggested that I read (it pretty much sums up the backstory of the game), and the plot of this game seems pretty fucking convoluted. What's more, I've heard that the second disc is all text and boss fights, which is definitely not good.
Wind Waker 100% hearts and charts playthrough. (and all tingle statues)
Quote from arkarian:
what about photographs?
I attempted to do that once and the amount of time involved is RIDICULOUS. The fact that you can only carry three pics at a time, the fact that many of the pics are a one-chance-only-or replay-the-game kind of thing, and the fact that you have to play the song of passing twice between each one while the douche creates the statues for you makes the whole thing as long and tedious as this sentence.
