One shall stand, one shall ball.

Okay, that bomb defusing sequence was pretty damn intense, I gotta admit! I died like three times during the second wire cutting part, but it was still fun regardless of that.

The dialogue after each failure is amazing. Made my utter incompetence somewhat bearable!
God damn it, why did they have to pull the old cover-up routine with the Narc factory. I HATE this kind of dramatic irony. It's frustrating as hell to watch the protagonists get bashed by everyone when they know the truth. Ugh...
One shall stand, one shall ball.
That's kinda the point. It also fits in perfectly with the whole buddy cop routine, that's how these things go.
Well, at least the main character lived. I guess that's all that matters in those kinds of situations, lol.
Heh...

Well, I just beat the game! WOOHOO! My damn emulator crashed right before the credits rolled due to some weird error, but I watched a video showing the ending, and it looks like I didn't miss anything. I loved this game, even though it's gameplay is minimal and it doesn't really have any replay value whatsoever. The question is, if I liked Policenauts, will I like Snatcher too?
The wandering Space Dragon
Anybody suggest a good platformer for snes/gba? I need to get my fix, and beating metroid games repeatedly just doesn't cut it all the time.

Yoshi's Island is the best non-metroid platformer from either of those systems, but that's just my opinion.
Same here. Also one of my absolute favorites across all genres/platforms, if that matters at all to you.

Can't think of any others at the moment other than the DKC series, specifically #2.

haha. the haunted mansion is pretty cool. i liked how the camera got forced away from the exit door in the second room (the one with the lightening strike)

but that red light .. what the f. now I gotta experience those shock effects again? ugh

You are pretty linear,he?;) Play it again and try to go an alternative route. Make sure to play with anxious atmosphere and tell me how it was. It would be better I dont spoil by preparing you but you are forcing me to:(

Try Timeslip (similar to contra) on snes. If you are bored than you might find more fun with Hagane (cyborg ninja for snes).

So what was your biggest shocking moment?

ryu: 2010-07-08 07:20:20 am
the corpse coming down. didn't expect that due to the focus on the corpse in the chair, although the room was pretty tense thanks to that corpse anyway...

but when the narrator went "we want you to stay forever" in the corridor it creeped the fuck out of me a lot too

So did that c.. shock you most? All people I know were shocked most at that moment.
I guess it's so lame it just works

That is all the trick that works for all here, you are focused on one strange-looking thing here and dont expect a sudden strike from another direction, hehe.
so I'm ion the chappel, have just enough health to die 1shot and no health items left. according to guides there are next to zero health itzems in this place (well, there are two)

might have to start from the beginning, as I can't get past a damn scraper

I think it is possilbe to avoid getting hurt with some dexterity and endurance. Would be more practical to get to know the system of the boss first, though.

problem isn't the boss. I'm at the save point at the corridor with the picture Heather has to move away (
with the crying child and bloody footsteps
).

what lies before me now are a bunch of corridors with multiple enemies in them. Don't know how I should be able of dodging that

I dont know how much you are making use of the combat-rules. It is possible to fight without getting hurt (in many cases at least), except you are surrounded, but you can do something against it (in many cases at least). It is a very long time I didnt play Silent Hill but I remember SH3 is clearly the best regarding balanced gameplay and combat experience. I remember the sword working very well in combat compared to Silent Hill 2 for example.
I know, but it's still very hard not getting damaged at all, and considering there's quite a bunch of enemies ahead of me ... yeah screw this.
A hint not to screw it again, make often use of the sword and make sure to have some ammo left at the end, could help with the final boss.
