That was pretty awesome.

I'm still playing RE5, started a Veteran run from scratch (well, all my stuff are in the box, but I'm forcing myself to only use weapons and items I find inside levels).

I need the money and I need the money in a total non-tedious way. Six weapons left to upgrade, other stuff to buy. If I can't rack up enough by the end of this run, I'll do the easy-Treasure-level-revisit-repeat thing.

At 3-2 now. My friend joined me at 2-2 and saved me like 50 times. Plagas hate me.

I decided to re-install Oblivion.

Can't decide which character to go with. Since in my last play-through I played as a sneaky ranger, I'm thinking of either going with a pure-mage person or a heavy armor/heavy weapons person.

I'm also going to try out mods this time around. Last time I played the only "mod" I had was the un-offical patch that pretty much just fixed everything.

Still waiting on ME1 to finish downloading before jumping into ME2.

did they patch the rotten egg glitch? i bought everything in the game after about 5 minutes of that.
Ready to internet!
Managed a Full Combo of Come Together on Hard mode Bass yesterday on Beatles Rock Band. First time playing it too.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Playin some Metroid Prime again and am in awe of my ability to fuck up the climb out of Phazon Processing Center. I've bounced off the ladder thing, slammed into it and slid down until I hit phazon, landed on one of the parts you can stand on only to immedaitely slide off and hit every other standable part on the way down to the phazon, climbed half way up and somehow lost my jumping ability entirely, and climbed to the top and immediately be shot off the damn thing by whatever happens to be shooting me at the time. I have had each and every one of those happen countless times, and in general seem to require each except the last to happen before I actually get out of there. It's a kind of magic.

Also I've played this game a billion times and only just now noticed that Elevator A in the Mines offers a nice view of the Impact Crater and the Artifact Temple above it. It's a nice touch.

Did you at least play it with a friend? It's obviously not too great when played alone. The first time I played it with a friend we had about three horus fun straight on.

I played it with my brother. It wasn't Street Fighter enough for me. Alex from SFIII but not Ken? The hell?

Also, we aren't familiar with the Tatsunoko characters so a lot of the appeal was lost on us.

We're not familiar with Tatsunoko too, but characters like Doronjo and Yatterman still made us laugh a lot.

Maybe liking this game is a matter of humor, though.

That also caught me by surprise the first time I noticed it. I usually take a moment to look around there whenever I notice the view.

Shit that's great.

I played through MMX4 yesterday as Zero. The game is good fun at times (better than X3), but Zero feels rather clunky and there are some parts are incredibly stupid (particularly the endgame). I'll probably play it again as X to see if I enjoy it any more.

I also recently 100%ed all difficulty levels in Hero Core. I'll probably make a thread about it soon, 'cause it's probably (definitely) the best game I've played all year.

t.bob, you can hit that super turret from the middle entrance to ppc. you have to spend a while tilting the camera up but you can lock on then. makes things significantly less stressful.

I think X4 is great, but level design is kinda... narrow. I mean, literally, it pisses me off how the ceiling is so low in most areas that you can hit your head with a single jump. The train is a good example.

Oh I know, I usually do that. It's just the one time I didn't that I got owned. It's usually the Power Trooper that hangs out up at the top after OP that gets me. I always forget about him.

should finish cursed mountain tomorrow. it's actually gotten a lot better— still not a fantastic game, but it's not bad. the combat is actually pretty fun for how simple it is.
about halfway through ratchet & clank 2 and liking it a lot. better than the first one for sure.

also played a few chambers of portal to try out steam for mac. ran surprisingly well on this machine. about to start torchlight.

Played Oblivion for a few hours today and for some reason I got a really bad headahce while playing, and any time I would play again it would get worse :[

I guess this is what I get for not playing any first person games in awhile.

Isn't the train a stage from X5? Talking about the bear maverick stage.

I actually beat Sin&Punishment (the N64 game) yesterday, after never having gotten beyond stage two until then. Just didn't know you could use your melee attacks to reflect stuff so there was a boss I had no idea how to kill in time.
Kinda wish I never had played it now. Story is cheesy as hell.

I've also beaten S&P2 with both characters already. Currently trying to get the EU record on stage 0. Almost got that right now, but I managed to get hit close to the ende and lost all  my score-multipliers. D:

The train stage is Slash Beast's, in X4. Grizzly Slash's (from X5) is a series of trucks. Equally boring...

Started playing Mass Effect. Its a bit different then what I was expecting (in a good way) but still not sure what I really think about it yet.

I put the texture settings to "high" and I got a constant 60fps, so I bumped it up to "Ultra high" and it lowered my FPS to 10 <.< After setting it back to high, it was still going really choppy until I exited the game and started it up again. So I'll just keep it on high.

meh, it's not a great looking game anyway.
Mister ...
Downloaded a demo for "Half-Minute Hero".  Addicting and fun, and definitely something up my ally since I don't have the patience for typical jRPGs.  Hoping I can pick up the full version soon.

been playing resistance. very fun so far ... i like the mix of solitude and more military, squad shit. also finally started resident evil today. pretty creppy man :/
I've been playing Lunar: Eternal Blue a lot this past week. Unlike the bore fest that is The Silver Star, this game is actually remotely fun. I love the humor and 90s culture references in the dialog. The sound track is great, the graphics are decent, and the storyline finally includes a motive besides "let's go on an adventure!"
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Should you really need any more motivation than that though? I can't think of a better reason to go adventuring than that.
Yes, because it makes the plot more interesting and gives you the impression that you're doing more than just rambling about aimlessly.
I installed Half-Life 2: GOTY. It was borrowed from a friend and neither of us knew that you can only install it on one Steam account. Lame.
Things like that are why I've never got into PC gaming. Also, mouse and keyboard sucks.

you're friends right? just use his account.
