I took your advice on Secret of Mana 2, so that's ready any time. Might Co-Op with a friend too, thanks to NetPlay. It's next on my list once I finish Secret of Mana 1. Then I've got Children of Mana, as well as a few ROMhacks since I just figured out patching with LunarIPS (>_>). But those can wait until whenever.
If you're on a 'Secret of' binge, then you might well enjoy Secret of Evermore. It's got a very different style to it, but the core is Mana through and through. And since you mentioned hacks, there's a two-player patch available for it on the net. I can't tell you how disappointing it was when I'd caned Mana with a friend, and then found Evermore to be single-player only.
Not really a "binge". Just liked the first game so much I figured I'd give the others a shot for the hell of it. The fucking Dragon-Snake in the first is really pissing me off; the dungeon-crawling in Children is already getting tedious, especially since I've got OCD for completing all the side-missions.
I'm probably just gonna kick back and continue working on Platinum for the time being until I feel a need for going back to the Manas. Provided I can even play Pokemon, especially after a horrible start to Fire Red. Can't believe I lost to Gary (First time EVER losing the first Rival Battle) AND a Pidgey all in about five minutes. :\
