How?  you start with 3, then there are 3 you can get in the overworld before starting the dungeons, then you get 4 from dungeons 1-4, then you get 1 using the raft.  That's 11.
EDIT: nevermind, I thought the ladder was in level 5
LOL

So..is Chrono Trigger fun?  What's the best version?  I would rather not play on emulator.
DS Version.
red chamber dream
i wanna play that, but not on ds. would be so cool to get a switch version
There's also a Steam version, but you guys probably don't want that either.
red chamber dream
not really
I've been trying to decide if I just wanted to give up on Darksiders 3 and write it off as a total loss, but it looks like the game did it for me.  I ended up getting to the end of the game after only defeating half of the bosses, and there's no way to go back.  This game is an absolute mess and I'm just dumbfounded that they released it as is.

Beat DMC3. Really great action game. It's got some of the best boss fights I've seen in any game ever.

i'm playing south park the stick of truth on switch, which is the perfect place to play it. really funny so far, and deeper than i was expecting
Apparently the PC version of Chrono Trigger has gotten patched a number of times and has reportedly improved?

I beat that on ps3 years ago now, some of the toilet humour particularly towards the end was too much for me but the game is solid enough
apparently I read parker and stone weren't too happy with it, I dunno

Yeah, it's better now, but I dunno if I'd still recommend it over the DS version.

ah really, i know they were just as involved with the second game, so maybe they felt like they could do better

the stick of truth had a pretty tumultuous development

i agree on the humor.. south park has always been hit or miss for me
Two episodes that had me dying of laughter were Awesome-O and Marjorine
red chamber dream
don't think i've seen either of those. i'll check em out!
red chamber dream
oh my god opium! the opening scene of marjorine has a line that shpongle sampled in a song

holy fucking shit, i've been wondering for ages where it came from
red chamber dream
i should have guessed, they sample the simpsons on the same album
ha I love it when I watch a movie and hear a sample from some old song and suddenly realize where it came from.
man smash ultimate's adventure mode is gigantic. I expect it's gonna take me months to clear.

Crash Bandicoot 2, 15 years later.

Still cool. It has a couple of blah things, mainly backtracking inside levels and no analog support. Of all the things I wasn't expecting to age super well in Crash 2, the graphics were a nice surprise... IMO this is a gorgeous looking game. It's PS1 era and all, but damn, it looks so colorful, detailed and well animated even after all these years.

I remembered 100% being more fun... half the time you don't know if all boxes are obtainable on your first go, so you basically gamble and hate yourself when that 57/83 pops up at the end. Even worse when it's a level with split paths where you have to backtrack... the camera barely gives you time to react to things coming from the bottom part of the screen.

Maybe having played DKC2 recently doesn't help Crash 2's case. I'm having fun, though. I'll probably go for 100% just to have a complete file, even though it seems like a chore right now. Currently in world 3 with... not many levels fully complete so far.
I like turtles.
Yeah, Naughty Dog has always been top-notch with their visuals before most other stuff.

Crash 2's backtracking can definitely be a little obnoxious, if not committed to memory which levels require it. It's been so long since I didn't know where and when to find everything in the game that I hardly see that aspect as a negative anymore.

If nothing else, the optional/challenge paths that are required for 100% are definitely worth playing.

Also, the speedrun is pretty great if you haven't seen it. I'll just say that the movement gets blown wide open by the existence of the slide move.
I tried replaying Crash 2 a couple of years ago and gave up on it for the same tings you guys critized
