I actually really liked Hat Kid though, or at least, her mannerisms and portrayal in the game. I guess that doesn't necessarily come across just from her design.
Still playing sotc. I've avoided using the horse all this time because the controls for the horse make it faster to just walk. Now I'm at a colossus that you have to fight while riding the horse and I'm not even getting close to being able to do what the game asks you to do. I tell the horse to go, he stands still. I tell him to stop, he keeps going. I tell him to go right, he goes left. I spent a long time trying to figure out how to control the horse early in the game and gave up. Not sure I'm going to be able to go any further in the game.
i'm one of the few in existence who don't like sotc so i'm here to sympathize ;D
It would be a great game if the made the controls better. That's why I was kind of dumbfounded when I started playing the remake to find that they did nothing to fix the #1 complaint about the game.
on ps2 the entire game is literally a slideshow, and i'm not exaggerating. the frame rate was never good at any point except maybe in the very beginning area
