You have only roughly 2 weeks left to play that game anyways!
what do you mean?
I expected you to put everything aside when Super Mario Odyssey releases lol
Just picked up Tropical Freeze again since I beat Poi. Took me awhile to figure out again how to even roll... Does collecting all the K-O-N-G symbols unlock more levels like it did in Returns?
ohh i see, the level cap in xcx is 60. no wonder that's the max i've seen when recruiting other players' avatars
so basically you have to actually learn and get good at the more complicated mechanics, as well as grind for the best mech gear, to take on the high level enemies. looks like the class i'm playing should be able to take down monsters 20+ levels higher without a mech though. i'm gonna play around with that
I wonder if it's anything like the superbosses in the Wii game. I barely even attempted those because the min-maxing required was kinda through the roof.
screw superstar saga. There isn't even the slightest hint of difficulty anywhere in this game, except the final boss has given me a harder time than the toughest dark souls bosses I've ever taken down. I spent over an hour last night and three hours today and not even getting to the next phase of the fight, despite being at the recommended level and equipped with the most powerful gear in the game. It takes so long to even get to the part where I can do damage to the boss that I don't even get to that point on most attempts, but when I do I am met with a flurry of attacks that all must be dodged perfectly because one mistake is all it takes to kill both of my guys. If one dies and the other is still standing, you can revive him but there goes your turn and one or both of my guys fall in the next round. The attacks are incredibly difficult to dodge because you can't go by visuals when timing your jumps because the depth perception that they tried to create in this 2.5D setting is crap, and one miss kills me. Screw this game. Worst difficulty spike in gaming history.
main story in xenoblade x done. level 54 - man this game is perfectly paced even for people who really take their time like me
i think i like x better than the first xenoblade. the first one had more and better locations overall, plus better music, but that's about all i liked more about it. i much prefer the combat and general gameplay, story, sidequests, and postgame of x.
Lastnight I fought Dark Link in the water temple during my annual OOT playthrough. I always use the biggoron sword against him, but this time for some reason I thought I'd see if Din's Fire was helpful. Damn - I killed him using nothing but Din's Fire. I didn't even know you could
lol i need to save up over a billion dollars to buy the stuff i need in xenoblade x ... the good part is that you earn money passively, but i've optimized it to earn as much as i can and i only get about 140k every half hour
