Isn't denial one of the stages of grief?  I dealt with it by playing and replaying the old stuff for years and years.  Nothing wrong with replaying the old stuff, but when it's ALL you do eventually it's going to get too boring and the acceptance phase begins.

I have no idea actually. All I know is that the Bloodstained devs have been posting a lot of small backer input updates here and there.

Well the whole point is that Konami doesn't care about the western market anymore. But don't encourage them.

The three big chapters of my gaming life are replaying Metroid over and over, replaying Castlevania over and over and replaying Souls over and over. Welcome to stage 3!

Interesting.  I was trying to figure out which one was female by looking at them, and my guess went to the chameleon.  He has a certain gamine quality.  (new word I learned and finally got to use)

I havent played kazooie and stopped after playing tooie for a few hours.  I should try them again but in a different order.  Haven't they been remastered from the originals yet?

They've been ported to XBLA. The ports are pretty good except that you get locked out of saving if you input cheat codes in Tooie.

not remastered, but the xbox live arcade versions (including rare replay) are probably the way to go these days. they run way, way better

only "downside" is they made a fairly significant change to how the note collectibles in bk work, but if you've never played it you obviously won't notice

Yooka-Laylee is giving me Chameleon Twist flashbacks lol. Collectathons were always an unsatisfying middle ground between explorative Zelda-esque gameplay and dedicated 3D platformers to me. They kinda scratched neither itch. And DK64 exhausted me on the genre for the rest of my life. Are there any Mario 64 clone kickstarters? I don't keep up with this stuff at all.
